It's alright. Not exactly art, but not as bad as I thought it would be when I seen who had the lead role.

A definite no-brainer, but a passable no-brainer.

I liked it. It's one of those movies where there is NO brain activity required.

Just right for a Friday night flick.

I agree. I didn't think the rock could act, but he showed in this film he had an iota of talent.

I guesse I saw it with the wrong crowd of people. Not that I think I would have liked it otherwise, but it seemes real moronic after I saw it. I saw it with my sister who is a history minor and her husband who is very nitpicky. So the whole movie they're telling me about how this term wasn't invented yet and how catapults didn't exist at this point in time. It made real fun.

Seperate from their opinion, I still didn't think it was very good. I assume they plan to explain later, but the Rock character wasn't exactly consistent with the character from the Mummy Returns. Even for the dumb dumb action genre it didn't seem all that entertaining to me. But I'm also very fond of the cinema of hong kong, so if they don' have big fancy shoot outs or incredible martial arts duels I tend to think that movies aren't as good as they should have been....within the genre not in general. I just think there are better action films to see, but thats just my opinion.

Go see...
Hard Boiled
The Killer
A Better Tomarrow
Leon
Police Story
Star Trek II
Street Fighter (the Sonny Chiba film)
Conan the Barbarian

How did Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan get on a list of action movies?

The reason you haven't heard of them is that they are all more than 8 years old and most of them are Foreign films. None of them have a target audience under the age of 18. Nor do they star wrestling super stars. They actually have good directors and good action sequences. they were made to make a quality product and not to make money.

I've actually seen a lot of really old movies and I think they're great. One of my favorites is "Stalag 17". It's really old, i think from the 50's.
