Jar Jar's role was fairly minimal in Ep. 2, though his presence was still annoying... PLEASE, SOMEONE cut his head off with a lightsabre....

And yeah, they overdid the romance aspect in ep. 2, but it was still a good movie.

I think the over-idolization of the original series is to blame for people being unable to accept the new films. They were good, but some people treat them like man's greatest achievement.

Although the yoda scene WAS cool, it also seemed a little silly. I think when the 6 films (or 9, if things go to plan), will be good viewing, back to back.

At least Jar-Jar was original, unlike the 80's-soap-opera dialogue that made up most of Episode 2.

Original? Heh... His cute little vocabulary was all stolen... I guess George Lucas just watched a lot of Wayne's World and Full House.

The entire series rocked!

'Nuff said!

(Gee, this coming from a guy that the first time he saw SW was the special edition.... Go figure)

But, the only thing I would like to smack lucas for is the dialogue for the love scenes... Ugh... But other than that AoTC was an awesome movie... and what's not to love about the death sticks scene! And! "Why do I get the feeling that you'll be the death of me?"

ROFL! Gotta love that line!

I dunno, I guess it's the same logic as why I don't like LOTR... Or maybe not... What was I talking about again? Ah, forget it, SW rocks, period.

I actually saw a quote from Lucas that basically said he thought he had maybe approached the movies from the wrong angle...he said people wanted to see the Matrix...

I cringed at that line, actually, I had predicted it before the film.

Although the script was less than excellent, I thought the film was still great, and although the Yoda scene was a bit silly, it was fun.
