Good week for the Big 12 against the Pac 10. CU over UCLA at Pasadena and K State over USC at home. A&M did lose to Va Tech and Tx Tech lost to NC State after overcoming a 28 point deficit in the 3rd quarter to take the game to OT before losing 51-48 in probably the most exiting game of the day.
Notre Dame looks like they could be for real after beating Michigan State and moving to 4-0 and a top 10 ranking.
Tennessee looked horrible in getting demolished by U of Fla. Of course 23 turnovers (or however many it was) pretty much assures defeat.
Ohio State had a close call against Cincinnati without Clarett in the backfield and Michigan pulls out a squeker against Utah?!?!?!?!?!?!!?? What is wrong with the Wolverines?

I don't think Clarett would have made *that* much of a difference. OSU just played like crap. Its as simple as that. We were lucky (somewhat) to get out of there with a win. Oh well, we're still 4-0. Go Bucks! |

| i would have had a perfect week if USC hadn't played like crap. but all in all, i'm satisfied. how bout them Tigers of Auburn University. lookin' good. hopefully we will be 5-1 going into Florida. i think we have a good chance to do that, but i don't know if we can beat Florida two years in a row.

I am the anti-UT man. I live in TN, but shiver at the very thought of them. I don't know if I am the only one, but Clausen isn't that great of a QB. He pulled out too early before the snap and thats why he fumbled so much. TN is definately over rated.
Kentucky has to go the the swamp this weekend - as much as I hate to admit it, I think FLA might win. Oh well, KY is still a good team. Lorenzen is a hoss.

I'm yawning because I watched your team play a weak Pit team yesterday and barely beat them. That offense is WEAK. I'm sorry, but you guys will live and die off of the play of your D because the O can't do squat. |

Mark my words, I predicted it on another board several weeks ago, it's just more obvious now...
Georgia vs. LSU
LSU is even better than last season. #1 D in the country (going into my G'Cocks loss ). The only potential stumbling block is that Mauck is out for 8 weeks.
From week 1 up until the Bama game, I said UGA was overrated, but they're *crosses fingers* for real. They struggled in some early games (3 point win vs. Klempson, 13-7 win vs. USC), but since then they've pulled together with a tough win at Alabama and another against the Vols. I have a feeling that like all highly ranked SEC teams, they'll lose a close one (ie. UF/Auburn last year) but still take the SEC East. |
