An update is long overdue.
So, this is the month where we particularly pray for the holy souls in purgatory. I really like to make friends with them, because they are so close to God and I will meet them someday, by the grace of God! I often forget to pray for them, mae culpa.
We went on vacation as a family and it was a lot of fun.
Basically I don't have much news but I'm still alive.
WHOA Galen, I never saw your post. Thanks so much, I'm going to check that out asap! You rawk my sawks. But you already knew that.
Prayers all around
Lauren

| Hey Lauren
This post in my new journal may be of some interest to you. I've recently begun learning the language spoken by my ancestors, Gaelige na hÉireann (Irish Gaelic). Some of the music i nGaelige I've uncovered is...well, the only real way to describe it is flooring. I was moved to tears in particular by one song I discovered recently, a song written during the Cromwellian persecutions of Catholics in Ireland, entitled "An raibh tú ar an gCarraig?" - "Were you on the rock?"
I talked about it here. I may be recording it sometime soon.
Peace to you,
Ryan

| Hi Lauren,
It's the Feast of the Holy Family and for some reason I was thinking about you, wondering how you're doing I don't know if you still come to CGR but if you do know that you're in my prayers!
Joy!
Noelle
