(Nashville, Tenn.) September 9, 2002 – Award-winning and critically acclaimed rock band, Third Day will perform at a historic tribute to the survivors and victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The “Tribute to Grace and Hope,” will be held at New York City’s 19,000-seat Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, September 11.

The evening will include powerful testimonies from New York firefighters, police officers, and World Trade Center survivors, a special presentation by James Dobson Ph.D., founder and president of Focus on the Family, an on-court tribute by NBA players Allen Houston, Charlie Ward and David Wood, and a musical segment by Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, Fred Hammond, TobyMac and Marcos Witt.
