A great week for sports!
What a wonderful week!

1. The 49ers win their season opener on a last second field goal by Jose Cortez for the second year in a row.

2. Cal won, making their record 2-0, and surpassing their win total from last year. (1)

3. Nevada didn't play, so they didn't get their booties kicked.

4. The Dodgers have lost two straight to Houston!

5. The Giants won 3 of 4 from Arizona, climbing to within 1 game of the wild card, and within 5.5 of the division!

6. Not to mention the Rams and Cowboys losing.
