| I checked NASB because it is very accurate and my church uses it. Although NIV was the first one I ever read and I think it flows better in its words and it has sentimental value to me (sniff, sniff!) |

| I chose other, I didn't see New King James as a choice.

| Um, I like KJV for services because that is what most preachers I hear preach from. But I have slowly fallen for the NKJV because it is basically the same, just a little more on my low mind-level.

| I like the updated NASB. The NKJV is good too! I used to be a NIV fanatic, but the NASB does better justice to the original languages. I heard one of my seminary friends jokingly refer to the NIV as the Nearly Inspired Version. (Just a joke between biblical language scholars!) I like to read the NASB for study, and the NIV sometimes because I agree that it flows better. |

| It really depends to me. If i am studying a hard to get topic or verse, i'll turn to it in "the message" and his translation usually is very helpful. For everyday use I use the regular ol' NIV, and on Sundays I like the KJV. So it all depends to me.

| I read the New King James, but I haven't really looked into it to find which Bible I believe to be the most accurate.

| This is a hard decision :kwink:
I don't have anything against any version of the Bible, but I thnk NIV is the best combination of accuracy and readability.

| I didn't know "The Message" was being considered as a translation. |
