Red face jesus' main concern:saving the lost

as far as my choice of english bibles:nasb.but i want to discuss something more important.why are we,if we claim to be true followers of christ, wasting so much of our precious time debating on which english bible is the best one to read when there are millions of people in the world who will spend eternity in hell because we are not preaching the gospel of jesus christ to them?

why are we not busying ourselves with fulfilling the great commission that our lord jesus christ commanded us to do?

why are we not being persecuted for righteousness sake and being spoken evil of for the name of jesus?

by the way, jesus and his disciples read from the greek translation of the old testament(the septuagint)but they never made a big issue of it.why?because jesus was so busy healing people and changing lives and telling people about himself.he was about the kingdom of god,not the kingdom of james.

I have an Amplified and it's really good. It gives the Hebrew and Greek definitions of key words.

NIV or NAS usually, though sometimes I appreciate the NKJV's translation more than the modern translation. The NKJV version is much more blunt...which I prefer. The Bible doesn't beat around the bush!

ESV is mine, but it wasn't a choice on this poll. I've read all versions and I don't think it matters that much between the main ones.

I read the KJV, reason being that my mom raised me on it, and all the verses I memorized as a kid were in the KJV.

The NIV is everyday for me. Better translation and can absorb the meaning better.
