well ... since im gonna have a lot of time on my hands since im not takin to many hours this semester i might as well try this out ... i have never been very good at journalin ... but here it goes

sept. 3 2002 1:50 p.m.

ok ... lets see now ... well i got up at 7 hurried through my mornin routine to get all ready for classes ... by 7:30 i was runnin behind ... i still had to brush my teeth and brush my hair and some other fun stuff ... by 7:35 im runnin out the door lockin everythin and brushin my hair ... now i have a nice 15 min. walk to my english class ... on the walk to class i listened to shane barnard's psalms ... love his music soooooooooo much ... ran up to the 3rd floor to my english class ... we got to discuss beowulf!!!! it was soooooooo much fun ... :kroll: ... next was on to calc 2 ... right now its basically a review for me so i decided to make a program to calculate compound interest on my calc so i dont have to do it ... :kgrin: ... smart me ... :kstare: ... yea whatever ... next was history ... the restoration ... fun fun fun ... im actually makin a friend over here ... she sits next to me in my history class ... but i cant seem to remember her name ... grrrrrrrrrr ... im a dork ... ne ways ... she seems really cool ... its actually one of the first people ive talked to ... i have no idea y its so hard for me to talk to new people ... i was doin really good last year ... i talked to lots of people i never saw before ... maybe im slippin back into my shell of comfort ... grrrrrrrrrrrr ... oh well ... im workin on it ... again ... on my walk back to my apt i called home ... my dad had surgery fri so ive been tryin to keep an update on him ... hes doin really well ... my mom and him actually went out shoppin today ... so thats really good ... hopefully i wont have to go to the flea market with my mom this weekend and my dad will be able to ... i kinda have other plans ... eventhough i dont know what they exactly are right now ... but i do know that i plan on spendin a bunch of time with nate ... im really pathetic ... when i was leavin my house to come back up to school yesterday i almost started cryin cuz i was already missin him sooooooooo much ... i dont like that when im at school we are an hour apart ... but i guess its better than 4 hours ... if i would have stayed at louisiana college it would have been 4 hours ... but now that im at southeastern louisiana university its only 1 hour ... well back to today ... when i got back to my apt i noticed that i hadnt killed all the ants yet ... so i got out my raid and pulled everything out and sprayed and sprayed ... then i got to clean everythin ... that was fun ... by that time i got really really hungry cuz i hadnt eaten since 7 and it was bout 1:30 then ... so i went and made myself 2 pb and j sandwiches ... while i was makin them i noticed more ants in the kicten ... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ... stupid stupid ants ... y wont they go bye bye ... ne ways that brings us to now ... wasnt that soooooooooo enjoyable to read all bout what i did today ... i bet ya fell asleep half way through ... more to come later in the wonderful life of cat ... :kroll:

hehehehhe ... me?! ... well ya kinda ... with those that i know and all ya ... and sometimes i do have my spurts of random crazyness ... it wasnt to hard to do it last year and all ... i made myself do it ... i dont know ... maybe its because i kinda feel that if i start makin more friends here that they will start replacin the ones ive made up at lc ...

well since last post i have ... well i was fixin to start practicin my gee-tar when all of a sudden i got a phone call on my cell ... guess who it was ... NATE!!!!!! ... yes yes yes ... nate called me ... i was soooooooooo excited ... we talked for about 45 mins i guess ... ya know whats funny though ... he doesnt talk to much on the phone ... hehehhehehe ... but its sooooooooo cute ... hes a really sweety if ya dont know him already ... :kgrin: ...

ne ways ... so after i got off the phone with nate i practiced my gee-tar a bit ... i really wish my daddy would buy me a new one ... this one is really old ... and i had daniel play on it before and he doesnt understand y my strings are so tight ... oh well ... itll just take more practice to actually keep them down i guess ... *sigh* ...

well ... after i did a bit of that i decided to hit the books ... i read through all my intro stuff for The Canterbury Tales ... that was so much fun ... blah ... blah ... blah ... ive been doin that for quite a while now ... and im finally finished ... WOO HOO!!!!!! ... so time for a bit of a break till its time to work on my calc 2 stuff ... fun fun fun ... :kstare:

sept. 4, 2002 11:15 a.m.

ok ... like yesterday was over all a crappy day ... after my last post it got bad ... after i got outta the shower i noticed ants on the sink ... grrrrrrrrrrr ... then i went and looked in one of my dresser drawers ... guess what was in there ... tons of ANTS!!!!! ... doubble grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...

so of course i had to empty the drawers and spray more raid in it ... grrrrrrrr ... grrrrrrrrrr ... grrrrrrrrrr ... so like then after that i got on the net to check my email ... and i found out nate wasnt gonna call me that night ... needless to say i was very upset ... i also found out that he had a slight car accident ... that was a wee bit scary ... but hes a o tay ... which is really good ... *phew* ... so then i just kinda cried myself to sleep last night cuz i had such a bummy day yesterday ... i also think its cuz im havin major mood swings as of lately ... grrrrrrrrrrr ... me no like ...

so on to today ...

today i got up at 8 a.m. ... i actually had like an hour and 15 mins to get ready today ... WOO HOO!!!! ... so i gots up ... and did my mornin routine ... i had very good breakfast ... yummy yummy ... 2 toasters struddles ... they was strawberry ... :kgrin: ... after i gots everything i needed done in the mornin i went to the apt office to discuss my ant problem ...

that was bout 9:15 or so ... they gave me some stronger stuff then raid to kill the ants ... i was told to spray all the floorboards with the stuff ... and in 2 days if it doesnt take care of the problem then go and tell them and over the weekend they will come and spray ... so i went and put the spray stuff back in my apt and headed off to class listenin to 3rd day ...

when i got to my calc 2 class i was a bit worried that i had went to the wrong classroom ... we had been switchin classrooms for awhile and i wasnt sure if i had remembered to go to the right one ... but i had ... but cool thing happened ... my teacher didnt show up ... so another teacher came in and had us sign a role sheet and then we got to go ... excitin isnt it ...

so like after that i decided to head over to the book store to see if they had the canterbury tales so i would know if the version i had was the right one ... but ... as i should have known ... they were completely out ... so my version will have to do ...

after that loverly trip i headed back to my ant infested apt to go and do my sprayin ... so for an hour i sprayed my room ... the bathroom, half of the kictchen ... and half of the livin room ...

that will bring us up to date with things i do believe ... i hope everyone is enjoyin my very dull and borin life thus far ... :kspin: ... im plannin on checkin out the bcm over here on thursday and headin home after that ... they are have a worship service at 7:30 that night ... so that should put me gettin home about 10 ... not to terriblely bad ...

ne ways ... hmmmmmmmmm ... i think thats but it for right now ... geeze these things get really long ...

well i got to my bowlin class at 1 ... yes thats right a bowlin class ... it seems like its gonna be really easy ... we actually have a pro bowler that is gonna be teachin us too ... so that should be really cool ... im really excited bout it ... :kyep:

so i was there till 2 then i came back to my room ... on my way back it started pourin on me about 4 apt buildins away from mine ... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ... so needless to say i gots all wet by the time i made it to mine ... when i got in i took out me guitar and played a bit on that ... still have a hard time gettin the strings all the way down ... i want daniels guitar ... much eaiser ...

ne ways ... then i remembered that i had to go return a dvd that my friend dani and i had rented last week ... so i went and returned that ... while drivin over there i called my daddy to see how hes been doin ... he said hes been doin good and that he is about 80% healed ... so thats really really good to hear ... so now im here ... and i really dont know what all to write ... and im gettin hungry ... so this will be all for today ... hope ya enjoyed all that excitin news :kroll:

wow ... new day ...

well lets see where to start ... well yesterday i actually talked for a good while with my apt mate holly ... that was the funniest thing ever ... she is sooooooooooooo funny ... and ... well ... after that i went and laid in bed and read for a good while ... then i went over to go and check my email and ya know what ... my puter pooped out on my ... yes thats right ... it went cuput ... it was a very sad time indeed ... but then things turned around ... y?! ... NATE CALLED ME!!!!! ... isnt that sooooooo excitin ... i know i know ... you are jumpin outta your pants ya so excited ... :kstare: ... so ne ways ... we talked for over an hour last night ... then i went to bed ...

now for today ...

today i got up at 7 ... rushed around the apt tryin to get ready for classes ... well i got behind and was dashin out the door with my breakfast in hand ... so i finally got to english ... im sure you dont wanna know what all we did in there ... very borin ... so ne ways after english i went to calc 2 ... and then to history ...

so after i got done with history i headed back to my apt ... once there i unplugged the puter and packed my things up ... then i headed to the fridge and ate me some potato salad for lunch ... next i went and loaded everything into my car and started the hour ride home ... why am i goin home on a thursday you are askin ... CUZ NO CLASS ON FRIDAY!!!!!! ... isnt this an excitin life i have ... yea ... ne ways ...

so i started drivin home about 12:45 p.m. ... so i have no clue y i was gettin tired while i was drivin ... i got plenty of sleep and all ... *sigh* ... oh well ... so i made it home around 1:30 or so ... unpacked my things ... and hit the puter ... so there ya have it ... the wonderful ... fun packed ... most excitin day of catherine ... loverly huh

blah blah blah ... that takes work ... but i am i am ... ive been talkin to this one gurl in my history class and the other gurl sittin next to me started talkin too ... and in my calc 2 class ive been talkin to this other lady ... most of it is showin her how to do most of it ... but thats all good ...

lets see lets see ... yesterday was a very lazy day for me ... i played around on the puter most of the time ... and i took me a nice long bubble bath with candles all over ... that was very nice ... i needed it ... :kroll: ... whatever ...

later that night ... like about 10 nate called me ... good thing i had the phone right by me cuz my parents were sleepin ... so we talked on the phone for about an hour ... he forgot about his rabbit and left it out that long ... which isnt as bad as the other time he forgot bout it and it stayed out for 2 hours ... *sigh* ... i never realized i was that distractin ... so ne ways ... after i got off the phone with him i went to bed ...

and that shall bring us to today ...

well lets see ... i got up at 8:30 this mornin ... it sounded like it was rainin so i went to check and see cuz i wanted to wash my car ... it was rainin ... so i didnt get to do that ... *sigh* ... so then i started gettin the clothes done ... and while they were in the dryer i went to go eat me some smacks ... i poured me a bowl and then realized that we didnt have ne milk ... grrrrrrrrrrr ... so i repoured the cereal back into its box and hunted for something else to eat ... i found me some waffles and ate that ...

so after i finished eatin i went and finished the clothes ... then i washed the dishes ... then i hopped on the puter for a while to check my email ... i had received one from nate ... so i wrote him back ... then i put up an away message and started pluckin my eyebrows ... grrrrrrrrrr ... it hurts really bad ... oh well ... then my mommy and daddy got home and we talked for a bit ...

then my mommy and daddy started fixin things and packin up my mommys things for the flea market ... shes goin to set up today so that she wont be rushed tomorrow ... so thats what they are doin and im just bummin on the puter ...

well you really dont wanna hear bout everything that has happened ... and im just wantin to write right now ... see nate and i were supposed to be goin out tonight to hear this band play over at christina's ... its our little christian coffee house ... its grrrrrrrrrreat ... well ... ne ways ... he called me about 6:30 or so to tell me to be there for 7:30 ...

i got all dressed up for tonight ... i actually put make up on ... its not very often that ill do that ... i just wanted to look really nice tonight and all ... so like i was just fixin to walk outta the door when i get a phone call ... can ya guess who it was ... righto ... it was nate ... he called to tell me that we couldnt go tonight and that he would explain later tonight when he called ...

so ... like im really confuzzled now as to whats goin on ... and im also a bit upset cuz i actually took more time than usual to get ready and look nice ... i mean ... its not like im mad or ne thing ... its just ... oh geeze ... i dont know ... i guess ... its that im dissapointed ... i was lookin forward to this for a while and then we couldnt go ... :ksad: ...

so now i guess ill just be waitin by the phone ... waitin to find out whats goin on ... *sigh*

Not to butt-in on Cat's journal, but we did end up going ..... it was lots of fun. Happy happy. The band at the coffeehouse was actually very good, not much of a band though.... it was only one guy on acoustic, and another guy on electric bass...... but they were really good. Ok, I'll stop talking now since this isn't my thread.
