Aaron Spiro Celebrates Release In Seattle

(Nashville, TN) August 30, 2002 – New Sparrow Records Artist Aaron Spiro recently hosted an album release party in support of his anticipated debut project, Sing.

On Friday, August 23, friends and fans joined Spiro at Calvary Fellowship near his hometown of Seattle to celebrate the release of Sing. Already well known in the local music scene for leading high school and college outreach where his father pastors, Spiro officially introduced Sing to the city that already holds the highest percentage of his album sales.

Spiro further received attention as the area’s top Christian radio station, Spirit 105.3, featured the album as its “Disc of the Week” starting August 13. Garnering similar interest nationwide, the first radio single and title cut from Sing climbed to No. 17 at CHR and No. 26 at AC on R&R’s Top 30 Christian charts this week where it continues to build momentum.

Spiro will return to the Seattle stage this fall as a featured performer on the multi-act Festival Con Dios, the highly anticipated tour that has garnered coverage from such major media outlets as Newsweek, USA Today, CNN, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly and the Late Show with David Letterman. Running from September 12 through November 4, Spiro will perform in a key slot in all 33-cities on the tour prior to top-selling acts Audio Adrenaline, Toby Mac, Mercy Me and Out of Eden. For more information on Festival Con Dios, including ticket information and ordering, visit www.festivalcondios.com.

As a new breed of artist with a fresh sound, Spiro’s August 13 Sing release, produced by three-time Dove Award winner Charlie Peacock (dcTalk, Switchfoot, Sarah Masen) and notable industry veteran Jacquire King (Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, Tom Waits), reveals his transparency in his music, his life and his relationship with God.
