Kathy Troccoli Gears Up For 13th Release, The Heart Of Me

(Nashville, TN) August 30, 2002 - Reunion Records' flagship artist Kathy Troccoli is readying for her 13th album since 1982, The Heart of Me, which releases nation wide on September 24.

With a career that was shot into the mainstream arena in 1992 with the hit-single "Everything Changes" Kathy has found her calling over the years not only as a singer but also an author and a speaker to women across America. Kathy's music empowers women and helps in the growth and healing process in their many phases of life.

The Heart of Me characterizes the career of Kathy Troccoli and is loaded with songs that touch on issues of hope, finding one's strength in the Lord and trusting that God is in control of our lives. Under the direction of Nathan DiGesare (Donna Summer, Steve Winwood, Boyz II Men) and Chris Harris (Jaci Velasquez, Anointed), The Heart of Me features songs penned by Troccoli including "Take Me Higher," "Love Has Come" among others. "You're Still God," written by Troccoli, inspired her to write a book by a similar name, Am I Not Still God released in February 2002 through W Publishing.

"Kathy makes an amazing connection at these events that have consistently translated into to a spike in sales. With her heavy touring schedule this fall, our focus is to maximize each markets' potential with local retail promotion and by partnering with churches to inform those involved in women's ministries that Kathy will be appearing in or near their community," notes Keri Turner, sr. director of marketing.

The Heart of Me is a classic Kathy Troccoli album with original songs that speak directly to believers (especially women) on issues of hope, faith and love. It also includes two praise and worship songs, "Love Has Come" and "Just Like You" which are certain to be great sing-a-longs for her live concerts and speaking engagements.

Troccoli is currently out on the Women of Faith tour and is also hosting her own conferences, Hope For A Woman's Heart. Between the two conferences, Troccoli will speak and perform before over 150,000 women over the next 14 weeks in markets including Denver, CO, Washington D.C., Grand Rapids, MI, Anaheim, CA and Philadelphia, PA. (visit www.troccoli.com for specific dates, venues and cities)

Troccoli is a Dove Award winner and has been nominated for two GRAMMY's. Throughout her career she has garnered 17 number-one radio singles and has appeared on shows including, The Tonight Show, Live! With Regis and Kathy Lee and the VH-1 Countdown.
