| hmmm...
Well you got the Starbucks stars question correct. I know that because I am in there like every other night. Umm... as far as the $5 bill question... The old $5. (Is that what you mean? Are they even different pictures? I'm a poor college student and I don't have any cash to check...) Sam Houston was the first president of the Republic of Texas.
As for yours...
1. This is interesting that you should ask this, because I am a Mass Communications major at Middle Tennessee State University and I am in an Intro to Electronic Media class. Anyways, the other day we were talking about the first radio stations... and I almost asked what those call letters meant... I didn't though. I need to do a little research to find out...
2. "I'm still here - nothing happened to me!" -quote from #2
3. I'm not quite - maybe... no... I really don't know.
4. Would it not depend on how fast you were traveling?
5. (see #2)
More questions...............
1. What play was being presented the night that Lincoln was assasinated... and who was it written by?
2. Which president has received the most electoral votes in one elction?
3. Who is the youngest president ever to take office?

| The call letters in the radio stations are symbolic of the country they are in. The US has W and K as their first letters. Canada has C's as theirs. CHOK. CHUM. CHFM, etc..
It's the same for TV stations and Airplanes and Airports.
Every airport code in Canada starts with a Y. Toronto Pearson is YYZ, Toronto Island is YTO, Edmonton International is YEA. Vancouver is YVR, etc...
The US has all the individual airport codes for some reason... NYC, LGA, BOS, PHL, PIT, HOU, DFW, etc...

#9 | | Cool enough Administrator | Solving for what though?? If you want the circumfrence, it could be 3.1415926535897932384646(5/2)squared. I don't have time to figure it out. |

| Equation of a Circle... Hmmm... the equation of a circle with a diameter of 5 inches... Assuming that the center of the circle occurs at the origin (0,0), it is safe to say that one point on the circle is (2.5,0) and another at (-2.5,0). So, when x=0, the y value is either 2.5 or -2.5. But here is the equation without going through logically: The equation for a circle is x^2+y^2=r^2. The diameter is 5, meaning the radius (r) is 2.5. Ergo, you square 2.5 (r^2) and get 6.25. Then you plug that into the eqaution and you get: x^2+y^2=6.25.
And by the way, Peja Vu, you misquoted pi: Quote: |

Let's see...
1. I do beleive there are a total of 95 counties in Tennessee. (Rutherford is by far the best, and I heard it was one of the fastest growing counties in the south - just another tidbit)
2. The first governor of Tennessee was John Sevier
3. Tennesse receives 11 allocated votes
4. Well, if indeed a wood chuck could chuck wood, I suppose it would depend on how much the wood chuck would want to chuck. But of course this question is hypothetical...
More later.... |

Well...
1. There are 7 stars in the big dipper...
2. I have no idea, but I would like to know... if you could post the answer, that would be cool
3. probably none, seeing that the letters that it took to compose the question you asked require the use of both of your typing hands (if you type in the correct manner) therefore, your fingers were prabaly all curved in a downward fasion. But if not technically... I would guess three... Here is another
Since there have already been two trivia questions on stars, here is another:
How many stars are in Paramont Pictures's logo (the one with the mountain that has the stars circle around it)?
Try to find it if you dont know...
Later. Press On.
