Ooh, lots of A-bands out there...how about Abandon Kansas? They're an indie punk band from Kansas, and they're actually pretty good.

As I Lay Dying completely. Anberlin and Apologetix are pretty good too, but can't nearly compare to AILD.

I'd have to say Alove For Enemies.
These guys play some good hardcore.

Followed by As Cities Burn. My first introduction into the harder realm of music, their work has blessed me in numerous ways.
