Stop the world, I want to get off...

My day started waaaay too early, as my mom woke me up at 9:00 this morning. (I'm still exhausted from camp (or at least that's my excuse)).

After getting up, I painted a shelf. Then I ate lunch, took a shower and headed off to work, barely making it there in time. After working, I came home. I am now waiting for my mom to get home, so we can eat dinner. I also have to fold laundry tonight...ugh.

Hopefully I can get to sleep early tonight and sleep for hours upon hours (yeah, right.)

I am now waiting for my dad to get out of my parent's room so I can talk to my friend while I fold laundry.

We had pizza for dinner--ham and pineapple--my favorite kind!

I am also eating/wearing a candy necklace. If anyone has any idea how to shoot the candy pieces, that'd be great. (It's a long story, but that's the only reason I bought it.) (Does that sound sad or what?)

I have finished folding laundry, and am now on a search to find a cool nickname for Elizabeth. My name is too close to my mom's name, so I want an alternative. Any ideas? My top one so far is Elyssa.

According to the nickname websites, the options would be: Adeliza, Bess, Bessie, Beth, Betsy, Bethia, Dicey, Eliza, Louisa, Liz, Lizzie, Libby, Libbie or Tess.

Me? I think Lizzykins sounds cool!

My favorite recent quote on CGR:

"Bono is so full of himself that it hurts. Every time I read one of his quotes, it makes me want to puke on his face. It was a good quote, but it is made bad by the fact that he is more self-righteous than George Clooney.

I am slowly re-assimilating back into the CGR.

Today I woke up around 10:00 ( ), did nothing for awhile before taking a shower. Then I ate lunch while reading a Calvin and Hobbes book.
After lunch, I got on the computer, and that's where I am now.

Lizzykins? My best friend has quite a plethora of nicknames for me: Lizzette, Roni (there's a story) and many others.
Elyssa is still my top one. I've also considered Ericka, since that would involved my middle name, but I think Ericka is too common.
I'll let ya'll know when I decide.

Well, I didn't do too much yesterday--went to the dentist (probably my least favorite place to visit (sorry to Jay's sis)), came home, did nothing, (if I remember correctly), ate dinner (which I had about 7 min. to do) and then went to work.
After getting home from work, I laid around, reading and doing nothing until around midnight, when I decided I should get to bed.

As for today, I didn't sleep very well and woke up feeling like crap around 6:30, but I drifted in and out of sleep until around 10:00. Then I hopped in the shower, ate lunch and got on here. I have chores to do, but my mom's not home so she can't be on my case about them. Yeah, yeah, I'll get them done before I work.
In case you were wondering, I work from 12:45-6:00.

I need to clear the stuff off of my bedroom floor so that I can walk across it without killing myself. Hopefully tonight after work.

We're having a garage sale this weekend, so I'm going to be busy preparing for/helping with that.

Well, I'll fill all my fans (all one of you) in on the rest of my day.

I got to go home from work early!! This was a total blessing, since I still don't feel the best.

My sister just came home crying. I asked her what was wrong, but I got no answer.

I got home from work a little after 4:00 and promptly laid down on my un-made bed (yeah, yeah, shame on me) for about an hour. Now, I've stolen the computer from my mom, who was looking for school books, while she gets dinner ready.

I don't know what I'm doing the rest of the day--I have a few chores left to finish up ( ), but they shouldn't take long (once I actually get around to doing them).

That's all for now!

Wow, reading that last entry made me realize that I never did my last chore. Ah well, there's always tomorrow.

My dad made cookies (which he almost never does), and I'm contemplating going to get one, but I don't want my bros to read my IM conversations. So, I think I'll stay here.

School starts on Tuesday (YUCK!), and I've been working on my schedule, and am begining to get stressed out already. The basics--math, English, science--aren't so bad, but when I add in everything else (coincedentally the stuff I actually want to take)...yikes! I am having a great doubt that I'll be able to spend as much time on Bible Quizzing as I'd like to. And who knows if I'll survive ASL (my college class that I'm dying to take!)

I think there was a rant I was going to go on, but I forgot what it was. It'll probably come to me when I'm lying in bed, trying in vain to get to sleep. Figures.

*EDIT: My bro brought me a cookie, warm from the oven.

LOL!!! Yah, I plan on changing it often. I hope that hasn't been too disruptive to your CGR experience.

It's okay you didn't make your bed. I believe you are still exhausted from camp, Elyssa/Lizzykins.

This morning, I slept in. Hopefully this cold will go away sooner rather than later. Then I helped my mom get ready for our garage sale (I keep typo-ing and writing 'garbage' sale...hmmm). I did that all afternoon, and pretty much all evening, too. And my parents are still working on it!

Question...why is it called a cold? You're not always cold when you have them?
