That's one thing I don't like about my church's worship center--they use theater seating (like *exactly* like they use in actual stage theaters--it's quite interesting) and you can't put the arms up and so I can't sleep in there anymore. Oh well, there's a chapel that has some pews that are quite nice. When I'm working backstage for the Christmas play maybe I can sneak in there for a while.

| Sorry I've been slacking off here--life is chaotic.
Our ASL quiz went well. There was only one I know I got wrong (and I might even get 1/2 credit), and we got our puzzles back today, and I got a perfect score.
Had quiz practice tonight...if ya'll could pray for me to be motivated and to get time to work in verses, I'd really appreciate it.
And while we're on the topic of prayer...I'm feeling super-stressed out right now, mainly because I have a topic weighing on my mind, and I think I'm making too big of a deal out of it (but I'm not sure), so if ya'll could pray for that, too, that be awesome.

My guess it was for either being too intelligent or too cute. Or both. | Can't say I agree w/ you on either account, but thanks!

So what exactly are you learning in ASL, anyway? Reason I'm asking is b/c I'm teaching myself and I like to consult w/other ppl just to make sure I'm learning the *right* things. | That's way cool you're teaching yourself--I was mainly self-taught and friend-taught until I started this class.
So far, we've learned colors, the alphabet, nature things (tree, flower, etc.), interogotives (sp?) and stuff like yes, no, true, false...PM if you wanna know more, okay?

Have you thought of ways to add more silver to the colors in your room?

I am slowly re-assimilating back into the CGR. |

I haven't thought much about it...I hope to work more on my room this weekend, but it depends on my mom's work schedule, as I am horrible at sewing, and need her to do practically anything with the sewing machine.

| Today being Wednesday, I met with my contact teacher this morning and had a piano lesson today. I just finished my chores and--get this--I am home for the rest of the day!! (Whoever thinks homeschoolers have no social life needs to look at my life!)
Plus, I even memorized 5 verses this morning. As you can tell, today is loads better than yesterday.

| The closet doors left my room a few days ago! w00t!!!
I made brownies tonight...they were very yummy.
Right now, my parents and sis are both gone, and it's quiet at my house!! It's rather shocking.
And I talked with my best friend tonight...good times.
Not much else is new. I might watch part of Shrek (which we have from the library), read a book (I got 2 for fun books at the library; it seems like it's been forever since I read a book for fun) or do nothing. Or maybe work on a story I was inspired to work on after a long time.
I'll prolly end up doing nothing. That's always a good thing to do.

| Yeah, I ended up doing nothing and surfing CGR.
Today was ASL...I got 14.5/15 on our quiz!!
We got our carpets cleaned today, and they're still kinda wet, so we can't put any of our furniture back, and we're hanging out a lot in the garage.
But Mom wants the computer soon, and Mark wants it after me, so I'd better hurry up and get off.

| I never posted yesterday...imagine that.
I'm currently being lazy, listening to Audio Adrenaline. I got to sleep in this morning, and it was wonderful!
I've also started writing [yet another] story. See, I usually think "Hey, this would make a cool story," and then start writing but never finish, but everytime I write a half decent plot, the story ends up being written. So, I wrote the plot and part of the story last night. If it gets finished, I might post it on CGR. We'll see. It's about Mark and Katie, and it takes place in the 1800s. I got inspired by reading Lori Wick. She is such a good author!!
And I got to have my "I Love Lucy" marathon last night. 5 episodes. I'm going to watch more tonight with my Mom, and she's going to help me put my hair in pin curls (after I show her how!).
I can't think of any other ramblings to put in here right now...so goodbye!

| Yep, my hair's all curly now. Kinda like this -->
We got home from church around 12:30, and I have to be back there at 4:30 for youth group band practice. Then I'm heading straight to drama practice. Who cares about the craziness of it...I am so pumped to do drama!!
Tonight at youth, we're watching "The Toymaker's Dream." I've heard of it, and I think I've seen parts of it, and I've heard it's awesome.
I'm currently listening to "Trading My Sorrows." Good song.

| My poor journal...it was lonely without me!
Ya, I was right, "Toymaker's Dream" was AWESOME. It was so powerful! The part that hit me the hardest was when people were beating the toymaker's son (Jesus), and every time He was hit, the toymaker (God) felt it, too.
So, to update my fan club (yeah, right!) on my life since Sunday...as I mentioned in an earlier post, I was really stressing out about something that I was making too big of a deal out of, but I gave it to God, and then He eased my mind.
Youth drama is gonna be awesome...our first thing is a mime. I don't yet know what it's called, but I'll let ya'll know when I find out.
Oh yeah, about the past few days...Monday I did school and went to Mark's football game. (Don't ask about the score.)
Tuesday was ASL and quizzing. I'm meeting w/ a girl (a Christian!) from my ASL class tomorrow before class to practice signing...she's really cool. We listen to a lot of the same music, like Newsboys, dc Talk, Rebecca St. James, etc.
This morning, I saw Crystal's family adopt Megan. That was neat. When I first met Crystal, there were two kids in her family. Six years later, they have six kids, and her mom didn't give birth to any of them. Adoption is cool, huh?
I want to watch "The Man from Snowy River" tonight. I'm currently baby-sitting my sis. It wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that she's grounded and can't play with her friends.
Well, I'm off to see what else is new on CGR. Amazing how it feels like I've been gone forever, when I haven't.

| Today has been...good...not-so-good...okay...cool...not cool...depends on which part of the day you caught me at!
ASL was pretty good--the quiz went okay. Hopefully my score won't be too low. I saw a friend named Cassie at school, who I didn't even know was going there, so that was cool. Talking w/ Cassie made up for having no time w/ Elise.
I won't even tell you the problems I had getting to my piano lesson--stupid bus system (actually, it's more like 'stupid me').
But I am home now, and that's good. I watched part of "The Man from Snowy River" last night. I'll prolly watch more tonight.
Oh!!! We might get a dog!!! Yea!! (We had one like, 5 years ago, but we had to sell him.) We're going to look at one tomorrow. It's a Golden Retreiver, something I've wanted since I was little.
