I have a pen-and-paper journal that I keep, and the other day, I wrote my 1300th entry!! (I usually write once a day, though (rarely) sometimes more.) I thought that was very spiffy. Half of my entries are about CGR, though, or so it seems to me!

Sorry yesterday's entry wasn't more exciting. My CGR time will be greatly diminished, once my ASL class at the community college starts tomorrow.
Yesterday was jam-packed with school, going to the college, finally getting my book (and video!) and quiz practice. We'll find out next week what teams we're on. I finished saying John 13 last night, and now I'm working on 14. That's especially cool, 'cos it's one of my favorite chapters. Well, I gotta go. Bye!

ASL was today...I was nervous, but it went really well. I don't have much homework, so that's nice. We learned the alphabet, among other things, but I already knew it. Our teacher is really funny, so that's cool.
I saw a guy from quizzing, Eric, and talked with him for a few mintues, and I briefly saw my friend, Elise (she was driving away). I'm now talking with her on the phone.
Elise and I need to hang up, and I should get to bed.
G'night!

No time for an entry now. Maybe tomorrow or Sunday.

No, you're not dreaming; I'm actually writing an entry. Friday was crazy--shopping most of the day(!), and about 1/2 an hour after we got home, I had to leave again for youth group band tryouts, even though it was kinda already assumed that I was in. So, now it's official--Mary, Liz, Megan, Josh, Jordan, Ben, Jasmine and I are in the band.

I got cool stuff while shopping--a sweater, two long sleeve shirts (one was from the Newboys that said "Newsgirl" on the front. I got it for $2.99 at the thrift store!!), a wool hat that has a rolled brim, a dress and Chris Tomlin's new cd, "Not to Us," which I am listening to right now.

Yesterday, I left my house before 6:00 a.m. and got home around 11:30 p.m. I'm still exhausted. (I was at a conference). It was good.

Today was church. And tonight is youth group. And my writing it getting really "stale" as it does when I'm tired. I'm definitely going to take a nap this afternoon.

Well, my nap never happened, as I wasn't as tired as I thought I was.
We saw a really cool mime at youth group called "You Matter to God" (at least I think that was the title!) I'm hopeing to be in the next mime. I haven't done a lot of drama, but what I've done, I love.
Well, I'd better go. I made vanilla pudding tonight. Yumm, yumm.

I'm so jealous you found a Newsboys shirt for $2.99! Wowzers.

Two questions:

- What do you do in the band? Keyboard, vocals or BOTH?
(and do you play bass notes on keys, or chords, or whatever)

- Now that you've made vanilla pudding, do you think you will ever try making tapioca pudding?

My favorite recent quote on CGR:

"Bono is so full of himself that it hurts. Every time I read one of his quotes, it makes me want to puke on his face. It was a good quote, but it is made bad by the fact that he is more self-righteous than George Clooney.
- Art

I am slowly re-assimilating back into the CGR.

I'll be doing bass on the keyboard. I play the root of the chord. Or at least I try

I don't really like tapicoa pudding that well (it's okay), so I prolly won't try to make it. Vanilla is the best ever. (Boy am I boring!)

Today was my 2nd day of ASL. 2.5 hours is a long time in that class! It's pretty intense, 'cos you're always watching the teacher to make sure you don't miss something. But it's good.

John Doe was supposed to have a football game last night, but the refs never showed. Apparently they thought it was tonight. So, it got moved. We'll be late to quiz practice but oh well.

Have any of ya'll read John 14 lately? It's one of my fave chapters, and I'm falling more in love w/ it after memorizing it! To me, it's makes it clear that Jesus is God. Good stuff.

Well, I'm extremely hungry, so I hope we eat dinner soon. I got to hang out w/ my friend, Elise, today after class. Fun times. She is so sweet!

Tomorrow, I'm going to watch my friend, Crystal, and her family adopt a little girl named Megan (since my senior project is on adoption). This will be their 4th adoption, bringing their total number of kids to 6. (When I first met them, they had two kids, and now they have six!)

More later. *says 'more later in ASL.'*

The adoption got moved, so it'll now be in October. This morning I met w/ my contact teacher, had my first piano lesson of the year, and am procrastinating my ASL homework and chores. I really gotta finish my homework, though. I have these strange dreams of not getting it done in time (it's due tomorrow), but I don't have much left, and it's pretty easy.

Tonight is Arem's football game. I'm going, but only because I think I'm obligated as a sister to attend at least one.

Well, I'd better go.

Bye, ya'll!

I got my homework in on time, and it was all done. We have our first quiz on Tuesday, but I think it'll be pretty easy. At least I already know the alphabet well, so the fingerspelling part won't be too hard. (He fingerspells a word, we write it down.)
Elise and I hung out and got our student I.D. cards after class. It was fun, as always.

I am so tired, so I think I'm going to get ready for bed soon, even though it's early here.

It's Friday!!!! One of the bestest days of the week (yeah, bestest isn't a word, but it is in the Elizabeth-dictionary). Nothing new is going on here. I'm just about to head out for a walk, so I shouldn't spend anymore time on here.
I didn't have any Geography to read today, 'cos I read it all yesterday!
Later...

Sorry I never got an entry in yesterday. I was going to post one i the evening, but the server was down.
The most interesting thing that happened to me yesterday was that I was almost arrested...by my sister and her friend. They wouldn't tell me what I'd done wrong, though.

In church this morning, we sang one of my new fave songs, "What the Lord has Done in Me." Good song.

I finished memorizing my chapter for quizzing, John 17, and am now pretty board, but CGR is back, so I have something to do.

I put my hair up in pincurls this morning (but it still looked nice enough for church), and I can't wait to take it down--I'm hopeing it well be full of curls! (It was totally wet when I put it up.)

I cleaned my room yesterday, and it's lovely. Now, if I could just get rid of the closet doors that are hanging around, I'd be happy!

I thought when someone arrested you they are required to announce what the charges are!

My guess it was for either being too intelligent or too cute. Or both.

'Sup, Elizabeth!

So what exactly are you learning in ASL, anyway? Reason I'm asking is b/c I'm teaching myself and I like to consult w/other ppl just to make sure I'm learning the *right* things.
