I'm not coating it with aluminum foil, but I covered my quiz book in foil last year (I prefer silver to camo). And about the aliens...I have two brothers, who I'm pretty sure get taken over by aliens at least once a week.

So apparently my Mom's not too happy that school isn't taking me very long right now. Can I help it if English goes fast 'cos I'm loving it, and not all of my other books are here yet? I didn't think so. (I'm only doing Math, English, Geography, Fine Arts, Science and Christian Studies right now.)

My brothers have just informed me that there is a huge spider in the garage sink. I hate spiders.

I made my dresser cloth last night...and burned my finger on the steam from the iron. It hurt, but it's all better now.

Bible quizzing practice went really well. I said 60 verses and quizzed out in both of our practice matches! (I'm not trying to brag.) Though I almost errored out in the second match. It was great fun to see my friends and quiz. Good times.

Isn't green a cool color? Not much happened today (my usual statement). Listened to the radio, as most stations were playing something about 9/11 and it was pretty interesting. Did school. I want to finish reading The Journey of Desire today. That's such a good book!

And now for today's random facts: I'm currently wearing blue jeans, white socks, a white long sleeve shirt and a green short sleeve shirt over it. And I'm wearing my True Love Waits ring, watch and a puzzle ring that looks spiffy-cool.

Adios!

BLAH.

Eh, it's okay. I'm only in the third chapter, so it hasn't been too hard (yet). I'm going through it pretty rapidly, 'cause it's supposed to be a one year course, but I'm doing it in one semester. (Next sem. is government--oh joy. )

I watched some of "Anne of Green Gables" tonight (I'm watching the whole series, though not quite in order!). I also made a throw pillow and nightstand cloth for my room.
I saw some stuff on t.v. about 9/11, and my dad was almost on t.v.! He rang a bell at this memorial service, and they showed the bell, but not him ringing it. It was still cool to see.
I'm off to find one more place to post so I can get my 400th.

Yay! You made it to 400.

You made a throw pillow and nightstand cloth while you were watching TV? Wow. I wonder what you could make if you really put your mind to it! A couple of major-sized Amish quilts maybe??!!

PS - What did you use for stuffing in the pillow? I am hoping it was old geography papers.

Haha, that much sewing would make me . I sew because it's cheaper than buying! (I'm a cheapskate!)

I never posted an entry yesterday. Shame on me! My mom, sister and I went shopping yesterday. The most exciting thing I got was either peanutbutter M&Ms or my pictures of the camps I was at this summer. Prolly the pics. It made me want to be w/ my camp friends so badly!

As I'm reserching adoption for my project, I'm realizing how many kids there are out there who don't have "forever families," and it's almost getting depressing! Yesterday I got off the web, and I was like "there are so many foster kids out there! And I can't even do anything about it right now!"

I took the Myers-Briggs personality test, and I'm an ESFJ.

You'll never guess what happened. The team I coached, Barfing Branches (yes, there IS spiritual significance), came in first place! Trust me, it wasn't due to the coaching; more to the fact that we had some good vets and awesome rookies. Plus, we had the top three memorizers!! I was so happy! I also got to do official score keeping, which was a total blast. (No, I didn't rig the matches, even though we did win all of them (I didn't score keep for all of them, though.)). (Pardon the bragging--the coach is a little proud!) It felt so weird to be a coach. Especially since I'm a regular quizzer during the year.

Have you ever slept on a church pew? This is the second year I've done that, and once you get past the narrowness, it's actually rather comfy. Much better than the floor!

Oh, yeah, Barfing Branches=very spiritual. Barf=Believing And Relying on the Father; Branches=John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches..." I didn't really want that name, but everyone else did, so I was like "okay."

That's all for now. And if anyone else wants to post in here, go right ahead!

Hey - we're the only two ESFJs on CGR that I know of.

I wonder if you hate the same thing I do... when you go to a social event and you feel "screened out" - like everyone is this big clique and they're all talking about stuff that you don't know that much about so you're left sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone who is kind and will connect in conversation with you.

Hate it!

Let's see...I'm home alone right now (!). I made cornbread muffins and chocolate chip cookies (my domestic side was acting up), but I burned one sheet of cookies, because I was on CGR. *sheepish grin.*

I have some laundry to fold tonight, so I should get to it soon. I called my friend, Elise, to see if she wanted to come over, but she wasn't home.

I might watch the second video of "Anne of Green Gables," too. Those movies are so good!!
