Signs is definatly sci-fi. If it has aliens it's sci-fi.

Star Trek has been around longer than Star Wars. If anything Star Wars is the clone.

But it's not really your typical Sci-Fi flick.

It was more of a thriller/mild horror type thingy (how's that for technicality).
