| LOL, you guys it's REALLY a spoon with TONS of peanut butter on it, and just the end of the spoon is sticking out of his mouth..
But his dear friend from camp thought it was funny to add the smoke and make it look like a ciggarette....
Gabe
P.S the thing that is SO funny, is tom is the guy that would NEVER do anything like that!

| yeah. tom went around camp stealing nametags. so the camp leader people had him come up in front of all of us and they showed him a glass of water, and made him eat this HUGE spoonful of peanut butter. tom HATES peanut butter. well, the guy who had his water, drank it while tom had turned around to the applause of the audience. i've got a picture of that too. but anyway, he was forced to eat all that peanut butter and we got that picture of it. and MY dear friend added that cig smoke. gabe's right. tom would NEVER do ANYTHING like that.

| Ecsuce me for asking but... If you had to list the top five Smashing Pumpkins songs in your eyes what would they be? On a broader note what would the top five songs of all time by any groups be? I ask because you are so cool and your opinion matters to my world. |

Quote: | On a broader note what would the top five songs of all time by any groups be? | ha. that's a really hard one too. oh man. i don't really know of all time, but from those that i know of, i guess
5.) yesterday (beatles)
4.) thief (third day)
3.) American pie (don mclain)
2.) zero (smashing pumpkins)
1.) draw me close (praise and worship song)
hm. yeah. i guess that would be it for the moment. haha. what about you? Quote: | I ask because you are so cool and your opinion matters to my world. | why thank you.

| Well as for the top five Pumpkins songs I had to listen to all their CDs before I can answer it but I have listened to Gish through Mellonchollie today so I can answer now.
1. Thru the Eyes of Ruby (Mellonchollie and the infinite sadness)
2. Today (Siamese Dream)
3. Mayonase (Siamese Dream and a very unique tuning to play it also)
4. Tonight, Tonight (Mellonchollie and the infinite sadness)
5. But they are all so good. I can't continue but I guess I have to... Muzzle (Mellonchollie and the infinite sadness) or The Sacred and Profane (Machina)
I feel as though I have left out so much like 1979 (Replaced the drummer with a drum machine, now that is what I like to hear... lousy drummers), Disarm, a lot of stuff from Machina. All I have to say is I prefer Siamese Dream and Mellonchollie over there other work but Machina was definitely a good album. The third best they ever put out in my eyes. Anyways I cannot continue with further questioning as it is too painful. |

| hiya all. how are you guys doing? i'm just checking in. i haven't really posted an actual journal entry in a few days, so i figured i'd give it another shot. maybe this one will turn out like a journal entry is supposed to... but then again, maybe it won't.
see, for the last couple of days, i've been pretty depressed. i haven't gotten to hang out with my friends any, and since i quit school (to return to homeschooling, of course), i haven't gotten to just get away from my house for hours and hours on end and see people. *sigh* anyway, today, my mom had to go and run many, many errands. she's been pretty stressed out lately, so my brother and sister and i cleaned the house for her. it wasn't so bad really. we got to blare our music and "fight" as much as we wanted without mom getting mad at us. so that made the whole cleaning thing a little easier. plus, mommy said that since i was the oldest, i got to "be in charge." woohoo. yeah right. as if there is such a thing as "being in charge" of those two hoodlums. but we actually got through the day without getting into any bloody battles or word wars, so i think we did pretty good.
mom and dad and myriah and joel are leaving tomorrow morning for charlotte. they have to go and get all of my grandma's stuff all packed up and moved here in three days. haha. lucky me... i have a major band practice on saturday, so mom said that i get out of the moving ordeal as long as i take care of grandma's dogs (4 wild pomeranians. ew.), keep the house straight, and don't stay on the internet 24/7. the dogs and the house aren't going to be that hard to take care of, but staying off of the internet... i dunno. maybe i'll just be online 23/7. yeah. that should work. but, however long i am on the internet, it's just gonna be me and grandma next door. and if anyone reads this and thinks about stalking the little girl who's home alone... i've also got a lab, a german shepherd (quarter wolf), four little ferocious beasts, and a bazillion cats to scare you away. not to mention several loaded rifles, shotguns, bbguns, paintball guns, etc... haha. and i've watched the home alone movies many, many times.
you know, i was just looking at how many animals we've got. i don't even like animals. my family likes animals and i have to put up with them. poor, poor me.
well, my mom's step-bro was here just a couple days ago for several weeks. he's really awesome. he just left for nashville again to pick up some of his stuff and bring it back here. like his drums for instance. yes siree bob, i'm gonna learn how to play drums. ha. and my mom's already freaking out about it. she won't even allow me to have drums in the house. i have to keep them in the spare bedroom in grandma's house. but that's an improvement on her first offer. for a while, she said the only way i'd be able to have drums would be if i kept them in the barn. (it's a huge metal quanson hut. kinda like an aircraft shelter of sorts.) haha. but it's shaped like an upside down half-pipe, metal, and with an open end. it's the perfect place for a concert or a drum pounding, head banging, screaming, crying, singing, hardcore, let loose, somewhat musical rant. my neighbors would be able to hear it for miles and miles. poor them.
ok, well, i kinda need to go now. i have to get up a little earlier than usual to say goodbye to my family. *sniff, sniff* and just when we started getting along too. as if.
haha. post back! later.

That is the lamest way out of it possible... Even Billy Corgan could answer the question. This kind of dilema comes up all the time, lets say you were part of a Smashing Pumpkins cover band and you only had 30 minutes to play at a show... which songs would you play? Or lets say your dear old grandma was like "sweet honey child I just love those Smashing Pumpkins they are all the rage could you burn me a CD with five of there songs on it and put Christian music on the rest of the cd." Anyways I thought you were really cool but now I am having second thoughts about it with all this not a plausible question mumbo jumbo. But I must say you did answer the other question about the top five songs you know of so you do get points there.
Anyways I applaud your decision to pick up being a drummer. The only problems I had with drummers was when I was always playing the secular music and before I heard about this Jesus character. The Christian drummers I know now rock and are some of the best people I know. |

I am sorry if I upset you at all. I don't know what to really write but I was just looking foward to what you had to say. Quote: |

| Come again???
Anyways my apologies. I guess the top five for all times sake would be based on what has influenced me as a guitar player most.
Midnight (Joe Satriani)
Over the hills and far away (Led Zepplin)
suspicious minds (Elvis)
Orion (Metallica)
Everlong (Foo Fighters)
I wish I knew more Christian music but I don't know any Christian songs on guitar.
I still think your'e awesome.

Midnight (Joe Satriani)

Devil in disguise (Elvis)
Orion (Metallica)
Everlong (Foo Fighters) | i guess my top 5 of all time was really based more on lyrics than anything else.
