| I like it.
It sorta suits my pseudo tough-guy personality while maintaining a romantic, feminine feeling at the same time...
Very rockabilly.

| As some of you may have noticed, I've gone a little crazy with the body modification this week... But I got some insanely good deals, and... I like 'em.
These two that I got this evening are in honor of my severely dysfunctional parents. They're insane, but I still love them... And they took the news of three new tattoos in one week better knowing that I was thinking about them while I was cringing and bleeding.
Yes, bleeding.
And now both of my legs are all swollen and it hurts to walk, but I think it was well worth it.

Also, the tattoo artist is basically my twin. And by that, I mean retardedly awesome.

| So, I am so sick of my life being so full of angst all of the time... I'm not 16 anymore. I don't need this.
I work different hours than everyone at work, so when they have parties, I'm never invited... But they're friends with me on facebook, so I get to see all of the pictures.
I went to a birthday party a coupla nights ago at my friend's house in Jacksonville, which is about an hour away from here. Her husband is one of my former coworkers... Probably the most kickass coworker from Bean's... Anyway, he's deployed. All of her friends showing up were couples. All of them. And then they started coming in with kids too... Finally, two single guys show up. One doesn't talk. The other was the only person there who smoked cigarettes other than me, so we started talking. Turns out, we have massive amounts of stuff in common. We pretty much talked all evening. His parents were missionaries, he wants to travel, then open a coffeeshop/pub, we love the same music, artists, movies, and books, and our personalities mesh really well. He showed me his artwork, and his music collection, and got my phone number before I left...
The next day, most of the people who had been there came down to go to a local spa here. He didn't want to go, so we went downtown for a few hours, then everyone went out to dinner. Later, the birthday girl and him and I went out for drinks. He was sort of acting like he was crushing on me the first night, and then the next day, things were too hectic to tell...
I'm the type of person who gets all antsy when people like me. I shy away from guys who seem interested. I don't know why. And then, if I don't see or talk with them for a few days, I find out if I really like them or not, because either I'll be relieved, or I'll start thinking about them... A lot. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all of that jazz... Well, the latter happened, even with me trying to convince myself it wouldn't.
But now I don't know if he digs me or not... And this is where the angst originates.
I am so out of the loop with trying to initiate dating people (not that I was ever really in the loop)... Angst. But today, I manned up and invited him to an indie show on Thursday. He said he'll be there, but, due to a mishap on base, he is without a car, so he's riding with a friend. Dunno if said friend is male or female. Angst. I don't wanna get my hopes up and keep thinking of him as the perfect guy when he's going to turn out to be nothing more than just a friend that I have a lot in common with. Angst.
Angst, angst, angst.
Oh my. Well, at least I'm on the road to recovery. And... I'll have something to keep ye olde blog updated with, at least for a little while. <3 you guys.

| Ah, I hate angst. I am dealing with a degree of angst myself, and this is a really bad time for it. I hope many questions are answered soon. |
