Haha. Apparently I'm 80% like I used to be.

I used to be so young and angsty... Now I'm all old and angsty...

My parents have finally started to accept me and my alternative appearance. Seems like it started around the time I got my first tattoo... Maybe cause that shiznite is permanent. I'm still generally conflicted. My situation is constantly on a roller coaster... It smoothed out for two to four years, but now it's crazy again. The one boy that I've found who didn't fall for my sister just walked out of my life for the second time, and may or may not be coming back. And I've moved up from MS Paintings to collages and photographs and, hopefully soon, tattoos. Such angst.

My tattoos:

The first one... Sigur Ros Sleepwalker
I got this one circa July 2007. Mike and I had just broken up, and my friend Mary and I decided that I needed to finally take the plunge... As you can see with the location and the size, I jumped in head first.


The second one... Free Heart Coupon
I designed this one myself. I ended up getting it on September 12th of 2007, which was my sister's birthday. I had to get my first tattoo touched up, so I decided to get another one while I was at it... Myriah ended up getting her first one as well. Coincidentally, later that night, Mike and I got back together after our three month break up.


And the third one... The Tumultuous Sky
I also designed this one. I came up with the idea while I was in Mike's physics class. It was my Valentine's Day present to myself on February 14th of 2008. The top of the cloud rounds the top of my shoulder, and the stars fall all the way down to the sleepwalker. (I had to do some intense bending and stretching to get a good picture of this one...)

I'm currently visiting my sister in Kansas. Last night she presented me with a gift... A friend of hers recently gave her two vintage embroidered nametags... She's keeping the one that says Bernie, and she gave me the one that says Art. So, I'm stealing your identity. Hope that's cool with you...
