| Thursday thirteen: Thirteen things I want to do before I die.
1. Live as though I truly believe The Gospel.
2. Make some lasting contribution to the Church of Jesus Christ, reaching out to campuses and atheists in particular.
3. With the help of The Lord, overcome (at least to a great degree--I know I'll never be perfect) many of the sins with which I struggle the most.
4. Marry a woman fitting the description of Proverbs 3_ and be a great husband to her.
5. Have children and be a great father to them.
6. Have a good relationship with my wife's family.
7. Graduate Texas Tech with a degree in psychology and one in philosophy.
8. Get a degree from RTS.
9. Be ordained in some capacity in the PCA or OPC (hopefully RUF campus minister in the PCA).
10. Learn to be less timid in sharing The Gospel.
11. Be financially secure.
12. Learn to be more responsible and organized.
13. Compose a symphony-choral version of A Mighty Fortress and have it performed. Perhaps an entire album of such compositions. |

| The requisite question...
Where you been, mister?
And some bonus.
What do you consider most important in choosing a school/career?
What was the most difficult project you've had to do in all of your schooling?
What book(s) are you reading right now? What do you think of it/them thus far?
What is your opinion on interdenominational marriage?
What sort of gestures from others tend to encourage you most? |

Otherwise, probably the sequence of reading a few entire books and writing papers fairly lengthy about every few chapters within them in Political Philosophy. I pulled a few all-nighters that semester, but I enjoyed the subject. Quote: |
Originally Posted by Tracy What book(s) are you reading right now? What do you think of it/them thus far? | Luther's Works - Table Talk. I love it. You should check it out. It's a book full of huge quotes by Martin Luther about virtually any and every subject. Quote: |

I personally would absolutely not do it because I want a wife who will teach my children what I believe to be the truth. Also, paedobaptism is a huge issue because what happens when a couple disagrees on that and ends up having children? WWIII, that's what. Quote: |

This doesn't happen to have the anecdote in it where his church member's ask him why it is he teaches them the Gospel week after week to which he answers, "Because, Beloved, week after week you forget it," is it? |
