| This belongs to Nix Mmmm... so anyone want to know something specific?? Today I'm pretty tired! Thusdays are always long for me at collage. I'm leading prayer for worship tomorrow night and I'm rather nervous even though this isn't my first time. I had a really funny thing happen between me and my best friend in South Africa. We were talking on MSN on Sunday night and this is how the converstaion went: ME: "When are you writing your mock exams?" FRIEND: "Around your birthday" ME: "Oh...lol... you remembered my birthday then!! What should I do?" I went away from the conversation to do something else on the net and got this responce from him: FRIEND: "Marry me" I didn't know abuot this and didn't reply but when I did look he had written this afterwards: FRIEND: "mmmm..... just kidding... had you for a minute didn't I?" ME: "I'm telling you when I did see it my heart skipped a beat!!! FRIEND: "lol" ME: "Now I know what it feels to sorta be proposed too!!" Man.....what an experience!! I told my mom and she said she would be more than happy if he did propose to me..... lol.... Well.. this one's really gonna last a while!!! Laters nix

| Ummm... I think about 2 and half, 3 years now. Somewhere along there...  He's the only one who's kept in constant contact with me since I left South Africa!! True friend he is  Just to get one thing straight.....we aren't engaged..... it was just a joke... hee hee hee. | Oh no...lol... I'm not playing the lead. I played the acoustic guitar and obvioulsy lead vocals an then for the phrase "I surrender all" I did the backing vocals. I had a real bad cold when I sang it so I'm not entirely happy with the vocals and I reackon I over emphasized each word......lol..... oh well :P What do you mean by strat... sorry for my cluelessness..lol Nix

| I can't remember what Paul (my lead guitarist) used but I used my own acoustic guitar. It's a "CORT". It's got a beautiful finish and a beautiful warm sound!! Everyone at school always wants to use it cuz it sounds so good!! It's kinda funny cuz my mom chose the guitar for me.....she knows nothing about music but she has an excellant ear for good music as such, and she was right when I came into the shop to have a listen!!! Thanx mom!!! Hee hee hee

| *sigh* I'm so bored out of my mind. I spent the day after church cleaning my room (which was a mess) and then doing the ironing......geesh  What fun I tell ya.I should probally be going to sleep about now as it's 11:15pm Sunday night but I normally talk to my friend in S.A around about now... I'll wait a little while longer and then I'm so off to bed. I will have photo's developed this week so I will scan some in and post it in here if anyone's interested Till then God Bless Nix

| Oh..... HI ROGER!!!!!!!!!! Nothing too big happening here. Had my step dad's birthday on Monday so I was real tired last night after that.... I actually drank champaign!!! Aren't you shocked??? Well I am anywayz.... I perfer not to drink because of affects I have seen on my dad when I was a child... (which I shall remind you wasn't too long ago... I refuse to admit I'm getting old.....hee hee....) anywayz... I'm just mentally preparing for my worship leading time next week Thursday and of course getting excited and reminding everyone about my birthday on MONDAY THE 2ND SEPTEMBER!!!! Don't for get now c.....lol.... well what else.... I found out today that the performing arts school I'm at that out of 1500 people that auditioned, I got chosen!!! Awesome hey!!! Oh.. I need some help. I have to do a discussion at school and I have decided to do it on Love VS lust..... I need an ice breaker relationg to the topic and then 6 questions as close to the subject and yet braod....any help from anyone out there would be much appreciated please!!! | When do you have to do it by? Our youth group is currently doing the No Apologies! course by the Focus on the Family foundation. It should have tons of stuff to help you with. I can post some of it (except we only going onto the third module this friday, and we still got a lot more to cover). Then there's all the life experience stories (Just look at some of the advice threads )

| Yeah........it's for this Friday.......one of my questions is "Why does it seem that guys struggle with lust more than girls?" and "What confuses the world that lust and love can be the same thing" or something to that ...I don't know....mmmm I don't like thinking.....well I do, but not when I'm tired......grrr..... lol So can you think of question off hand??

| here's one: The advertising media use sex (ie lust) to sell more and more things nowdays, how do you think this makes more people confuse lust and love? And: Does dating often promote lust over love? (that's a tricky one which should spark a lot of debate).
