| Everything to Everyone Yeah. I'm trying to make people hungry via my thread title...
I also want to say that this is a very great idea for a forum!!
Hmmm... currently I'm in a state of chaos. I'm studying for an exam next week that I'm totally unprepared for... packing to move to go to college... It's a couple hours from home. Should be interesting. I'm excited, but scared about moving away... being alone...
Anyhow, I'll write more later. Stuff about me.

| you'll survive college. You only have 2 sane friendly umm... people that you know in the nearby area that you can call up at any time, except for when we're in bed sleeping soundly.

Hmmmm... what else do I want to put in here... I'm turning 20 on Saturday!! I'll be at camp, though... Should be ok. It's special friends weekend, so they're mentally and/or physically challenged. Last year it was a really hard weekend. I'm trying not to worry about this year. ((It's a thing I'm doing. Trying NOT to worry...)) It's totally exhausting, but it's so-o good for the campers. Makes it worthwhile...

| Ok, well, this seems to be the place to post this...
I just returned from a very long weekend at camp. It's Special Friends which is our way of saying that the campers are mentally/physically challenged. Ummm... yesterday was my birthday. So we had cake... and they'd made me a card... and freezer jam. Yesterday also involved a canoeing trip. And some obedience issues. And trying to explain to a camper why she had to pee in a wheat field instead of a washroom.
Today involved alot of tiredness. some water fights. me getting an old toenail kicked off. It hurt ALOT. And the camper who did it ((accidentally)) was one of those who laughs when other people are hurt. So I said nothing till I got out of sight at which point it was all I could do to keep walking & not start bawling. I'll survive. And I don't think the toenail's coming off right now, either.
I came home from that, showered, and ran off to church. Friends of mine were special music. :kcool: and there was a little speech thing & my church family gave me a gift certificate as I'm moving & heading off to school late this week. Exciting stuff...

a couple other things from the weekend... they made me go on the canoe trip. And one of the campers was dead set that he was gonna tip our canoe over... which is cool 'cause I wear a swimsuit, so I don't care. but I had a camper who was really unstable. and I was concerned that if she tipped I'd never get her calmed down... so I made a deal. If he let them get out dry, he could tip me... The things I do for my campers. I went in, Glasses & all...
Also, on saturday I sat by a friend of mine ((who just so happens to be a guy))... although a foot away... his campers all decided I was his girlfriend. And he didn't much argue... so for the rest of the weekend I was his girlfriend. At least as far as they were concerned...
Today was dull. I packed. I watered the garden. I fed a friend's cat 'cause she's on vacation. I took a nap... and whined about my sore toe.

| today was also pretty slow. but a good slow... ummm... some neighbors came over for cake & coffee... and then we went across the street 'cause they're having a yard sale on the weekend but I won't be here, so I got first shot at whatever they had... ummm... this afternoon I ironed for almost 2 hours... came online, took a nap... and so on. I was much enthused though 'cause my bro liked the movie of "The Hobit" that we watched earlier...
tonight I have yet to go house-sit again... and study for my biology exam which, incidentally, is tomorrow night... and I've my last guitar lesson...

| Ok. Third post in a row by ME... this is an indicator that I'm boring...
Anyhow, I got woke up this morning by my Gramma going "Dana, it's 7:30 & I slept in & I'm supposed to be at the doctor's office at 8..." so my response--logically--was "fascinating." This was when she informed me that there was no way Grampaw would be ready in 20 minutes & that I should give her a ride...
Even less fun than that, I woke up with a head cold... I've been taking all kinds of vitamins... and eating lots of fruit... and still not drinking enough... any miracle cures out there???
Well, I went out for lunch with a girl from camp that no one else is very nice to... Actually, though, she's a good kid. She let me squeeze her hand while Joe worked on my toe on Sunday... And besides that, she paid. :d
then I raced to a friend's place to watch a movie... and was there barely long enough to watch the movie & race off again ((we watched "Leave it to Beaver"))
Yah. Then once I got back home I had to race off for my exam... which I survived. It wasn't easy, but there was stuff I knew!! Yeah... so we'll see...
And that's my life...

| A'right... had to dig this up, but I'm finally back...
Ummm... lemme see... I moved on Friday... had alot of time to kill between there & here... haven't ate a real meal yet... today was the first day, but classes don't start till tomorrow... and I have a test on Thursday. Friday night around midnight the fire alarms went off, which was exciting & crazy all at once... Saturday night I almost set Tim's house on fire while making cinnamon rolls, but all was well, and the cinnamon rolls were edible. Sunday I went to his church which was quite a bit different than mine although it's the same denomination... I'd worried about it ((yah, I know, it's a waste of time & energy...)) but I think I'll adjust... And... yeah. I dunno. I'll be online tomorrow likely & remember a whole bunch of stuff that I can't think of now. It's been a long day.

| Home for the weekend. It's nice to eat someone else's food again...
I survived the math test. and something tells me that our teacher is going to be one of those who will take it out on the class if she's having a rough day...
English is easy. And looks like it'll remain that way. I'm thinking about testing out... but then as things progress, it might be nice to have something easy on my plate...
Biology should be ok. At least the lecture parts... but then I did a course quite similar to this over the summer. I could maybe test out of this, too, but my grade wasn't that good, so I'll just do it again & pull the grade up.
Lab ought to be interesting as I've never used any sort of lab before, and now I've got to deal with both biology and chemistry...
I've a couple other classes. Chemistry, which should be challenging. SDV, which is online...
And so far I still haven't enough homework to keep me busy. I should NOT be complaining about that... tell me, can a body be sane and still want homework???

| Hmmmm... where to start... Last weekend after driving back to school, I noticed a light bulb dangling from my front bumper. Which, as it turned out, was my lt turn signal... and one of my classmates fixed it for me.
blah blah blah, classes & stuff...
first night of youth group. that was cool. and ummmm... today I was brave & went to church alone... and... hmm... yeah. normal-ish stuff.
And now the stuff Timio doesn't want to read... Last night I was holding hands with Chris ((long story. I'll just cut in on the middle of it. It's easier that way.)) and he asked me to be his girlfriend. And I said yes. And I'm confused, but I was that way already. I can't complain...
so, that's life in a nutshell. I'm procrastinating on some of my assignments, but still hoping to have them done on time. My body hurts, but that's totally unrelated to anything. And I should be fine. And I now have a boyfriend for the first time in like... ever...
