Christian Guitarists

I'm new to the forum, but I thought I'd give my six favorite Christian guitarists. These guys are all amazing on their respective albums, as well as live.

1. Stuart Garrard, Delirious
2. Mark Tremonti, Creed (almost Christian)
3. Noah Henson, Pillar
4. Eric Weaver, 12 Stones
5. Marcos Curiel, P.O.D
6. James Mead and Ryan Shrout, Kutless

I've never heard of this Phil Keaggy (sp?) guy that most of you on the boards do. Is he a solo artist? I'll check him out if he's any good

why is Creed almost Christian? There's no such thing as "almost christian" that's like being almost pregnant.

I think Creed lyrics are more explicitly Christian that P.O.D. lyrics.

anyways my favorite Christian guitarists...

David Crowder or Steven Curtis Chapman

Wow - there's another Aaron Sprinkle / 'Lu fan on these boards! The new Poor Old Lu album comes out in a month and I can't wait....

Anyhow, here's my favorite Christian guitarists:

- Aaron Sprinkle of Poor Old Lu
- Micheal Blake of Gideon's Press
- Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek
- Dave Bainbridge of Iona
- Phil Keaggy
- Johnny Philippides of Burlap to Cashmere (he's the one who did all their crazy guitar solos, I think)
