| Needed: Name for small group Bible studies Ok I've been lacking lately in the creative juices department and I could use a little help with some ideas. Our student ministry is moving away from the traditional Sunday morning classes and replacing them with small group Bible studies. I'm excited about this change and I think it is something that God has wanted us to do. However, I am having a difficult time coming up with a name for them. I don't want to just call them "Small Group Bible Studies" but rather something that is catchy and that emphasizes our desire to dig deep into God's Word. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

| That's basically the way our church works. We do small group bible studies in homes throughout the week, rather than sunday school. We call our groups Huddles - emphasizing the closeness of the members.

| Hey I like that..."huddles." I'll keep that in mind.
I should emphasize we are still meeting on Sunday mornings, we are just moving away from the traditional school setting to more of a small group Bible study format.
Thanks for the response.

| The big emphasis for our small groups is community. They are designed to foster strong relationships between the members of the huddle. That's the main reason that we limit huddles to 6-12 members - if it grows to more than 12, then the huddle reproduces. It's a pretty cool system.
