| Acoustic -
Martin
Acoustic/Electric -
Guild DCE8 with Fishman electronics, natural finish
or
Mike Einziger's Ibanez...his personal one I mean...
Electric -
Gibson Epi Special body
PRS head and tuners
Les Paul / Gibson fretboard (with dots, and a roman numeral XXII at the 12th fret a'la the gothic models)
Screamin Demon Pickups
either jet black or a PRS'ish blue oceany finish
I think that if I picked up everything on my list I could spend at least 6 or 7 grand

| I own my Dream Electric Guitar My Godin Solidac.
Acoustic Guitar, I'd like a Takamine, or an Ovation.

| My first guitar is a Takamine, Jasmine; satin finish. It's been great! Nice mellow sound, not too expensive. The glossy finish didn't have the rich tones of the satin finished ones. If the low end guitar is any indicator, I'd take a Takamine, if I had the $$$!

| A) Why would anyone want a fender? ewwww
B) I currently own a guitar that I think is one of the best buys around, a Carvin C750, acoustic/electric with all fishman electronics including the pickup. It sounds like a Taylor both regular acoustic and plugged in. I bought it for 600 bucks after tax and a pair of strap locks brand new. You can't beat that...
C) I repeat, because it bares repeating: Why would anyone want a fender?
D) I put a Taylor as my dream, just brighter than Martin's generally, and I like that, cause both sound great strummed, and I like the way a Taylor sounds picked over a Martin. I like the electronics Taylor uses better too...

I want a Guild acoustic now...
