If I wasn't getting a custom made guitar or whatever.. then I'd go for these...

Acoustic: Taylor all the way. I would really like it to have ALL koa, custom pickguard with jesus fish on it, custom truss rod cover with a picture of a cross, and of course.. it has to have the fisherman electrics.. or else.. it's a waste of a guitar

Electric:
Gibson Les Paul Standard in Desert Burst (BEAUTIFUL finish) with a custom pickguard and truss rod cover, and with an acoustic bridge pickup, if possible..

Gibson DC Standard in Lemon Burst (It's a double-cutaway.. so it's a lot lighter and stuff) custom truss rod cover and an acoustic bridge pickup

Paul Reed Smith Custom 22/Mike Einziger (Incubus)/Mark Tremonti model... custom truss rod cover, dove inlays, if possible.. I'd add an acoustic bridge pickup

BUT THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL (well I think so); Warrior Dran Micheal #199..

Amp:
-Any 100-watt tube Rivera combo.
-Fender Twin (100 tube)
-Mesa Boogie Double Rec. with 2x15 cabs.
-Carr Rambler 1x12

I'm fine with what I have though (Fender Mex-Strat into a Crate head and 2x15 i think), but I'm looking at the Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive.

Ive never heard a taylor I like. They sound tinny and boring. Martins will always reign supreme. I own a Guild, Im not sure what model it is my father bought it when i was 8. WOW it sounds great, until you plug it in. I just purchased a Epiphone Chet Atkins, perfect for stage play, sounds like an acoustic but plays like a electric.

It depends...

Electric-Definetly a Gibson Les Paul-maybe a ToneSmith (Tyler Berkum of Audio A. plays them)

Acoustic Electric- Definetly a Taylor 814 ce

I currently have a Gibson SG and a Fender-that's right Fender Telecaster Nashville Deluxe w/ fishman bridge pickups and it is awesome.

Easy buddy...

These forums were meant for expressing opinions, not attacking the character of others.

Statements like "Carvin rules and Fender sucks" (or vise versa) are tolerated. Staements like "you're a retard" are not.

That's crazy! The cheapest Taylors are about $800. I have a Taylor an I love it. I got it for really cheap from a guy at our church who bought it for his son, but son lost interest after a couple months. It's a 710, normally about $1,500 but he sold it for $800. That's about the price of the 300 series, Taylor's cheapest.
