I'm personally a PRS man myself - I think they're the best mass-manufactured electric guitar currently made. I have a '99 PRS CE-24, so I'm a happy man.
Acoustic wise, I have a Larrivee OM-03 that I'm extremely happy with - although I wouldn't mind getting a custom Bourgeois guitar .
Amp wise, I recently got my dream amp: a Rivera Quiana 212. It's the best of Fender and Marshall amps rolled into an incredibly versatile package.
So all in all, I don't really have any dream gear - I've got everything I want.

| i know i just jumped to the end of the posts, but from what i saw on the first page and the last page, and the pole it's self. There is a brand of guitars that has been over looked. Carvin. i'm saving up for all Carvin equipment. i'm a third of the way there. I bought my distortion pedal a month ago, and it's awesome. it's their first, heavy metal pedal. the UD1 (Ultra Distortion). I'm also saving up to get their SX200 amp. it's a beautiful amp, pefect for what i'm looking for, and the guitar i want is a masterpiece. it's an electric, but on the bridge it has a Fishman acoustic bridge pickup. it can get a beautiful acoustic guitar sound, and with the turn of a nob, you get a perfect electric guitar sound. Just thought i'd mention an underestimated guitar brand.
From what I've witnessed through my friends and my dad, with Fender, you get what you pay for. The more expensive, the better the guitar, but if you pay cheap, you'll get something cheap. With Carvin you get more than you pay for. Just my two cents.

Hey there were no arguments from me! I love it! | $3000??? is that a little pricey for Taylors or are all of them above $1000 dollars? I thaught I saw one in Wray Music House for $400 something, but I might have been mistakening..

Maybe some of the lower ended ones are around that, I'm not really sure. I saw mine was retailed at about $4000 somewhere. If it's only $400 I would definitely go for it!

#44 | | Guest | I'd want a Paul Reed Smith single cut with either a platinum metallic or flat black finish. DiMarzio pickups with a vine inlay. Standard PRS headstock with ebonized buttons. And probably a D-Tuna so i could switch from standard E to drop D easily. | |

| I have a Schecter s-1+ and it is a beautiful guitar, but my Dream Guitar is def a Paul Reed Smith Dragon 2002 Now THAT is the single greatest finish I have ever seen on a guitar. Another one would be a Washburn Idol or the PRS Tremonti model.
