| Olson An Olson acoustic guitar, custom-made by James Olson himself! Some of my favorite musicians (Phil Keaggy, David Wilcox) play these wonderful-sounding instruments.
However, I've only played for a little over 3 years, and my skill level is pretty low yet. For me to play an Olson guitar would be an insult to the guitar, so right now, I'm thinking about getting a nice Martin instead.
For the record, my former roommate has an acoustic Takamine Jasmine dreadnaught, which was inexpensive and sounds great, especially with that oh-so-realistic LR Baggs mini-microphone pickup installed in the hole. It sounds good plugged in or not.
Happy playing,
Ken

| My mom has a beautiful Washburn accoustic. She hardly plays it, so I have been playing it, and no other guitar sounds quite so nice.

Are you sure about that. That seems a little steep even for Guitar Center. The GC near me has lots of Taylors and none of them are priced that high. They sell the 314ce for $1250. Anyways, I voted for a Taylor. I already own a Fender acoustic, and a strat, so I had the bases covered there. Someday I'll own a Taylor.
