one and only

the only guitar I have and have ever had, is a Yamaha F335. Found it on sale at Guitar Center for $179, and have loved it ever since. It's still got the strings it came with, and they really bring out the bass. Which is good, 'cause I've always liked the mellow-sounding ones. My Dad had a nice acoustic-electric. Epiphone AJ18SCE. Brightest sounding guitar out there. Got smoothest sound on an acoustic-electric. Get one if you can!

Here's mine. I built the electric and the one on the right I got in Mexico. You can't really see the color on the electric in the picture, but it changes from green to silver in different lighting.

I've got a Takamine acoustc (I think it's a G230) and Ibanez Acoustic / Electric I got for $350 at my guitar store, my grandma got a Ventura hollow body for like $10 at a garage sale and I bought a BC Rich Warlock from musicians friend (the cheapest one.) I've also got an Epiphone Les Paul (black with a pearl pick guard) and a Yamaha bass. I think that's about it. :kgrin:

I have two guitars:
My first is a Takamine G335 twelve string
And my newest and most treasured guitar is a Martin DC-1E (I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!)

Oh, by the way, anybody know what kind of guitar that Matt Odmark of Jars of Clay plays?

They play Taylors! It says if you look on a Jars of Clay CD.

Aaron

^^^^^ thats a quote btw..i wish i knew how to use that function ...but anyways in addition to the taylor that mark uses, he also uses a Mayes guitar. i think its a parlor with engelman spruce top with figured mahogany back and sides. if you guys ever have the time, you should really check out the mayes guitar site (www.mayesguitars.com). john mayes makes high quality handmade custom guitars. my friend will be recieving his mayes sometime this coming september after having to wait like half a year :-\

At the bottom of the post that you want to quote, there is a button that says "quote." Just push that and you can reply with a quote. It's next to the edit button.

i have an unnamed mini classical that my parents got my for like under 100$ when i was 8.it sounds rough but hey! i'm learning on it (no havent been playin since i was 8...more like 3 months hehe) and on my 14th bday (only 2 months!! yeah!) my mom said she'll get me a nicer one. we're looking.
got any ideas? i LOVE seagulls. they sound awesome.
i sing in my church's student praise band, would love to play in the future...mostly chords but i really wanna get good and learn to fingerstyle and all that good stuff. (once i can actually keep time ;-) ) so all you guitar pros out there, got any advice for a minor guitar player heavy God seeker? (just thought id throw that one in)
thanx in advance.
