| I'd definitely have to say "A Clockwork Orange" I love that movie... my second pick would be "Eyes Wide Shut"

I figured the voting would be split up. That's the way it is with Kubrick fans. I've never seen two favorite Kubrick film lists that were identical. |

| I voted for 2001: A Space Odyssey. Although I admire all Kubrick films, 2001 really stayed with me.

| I was thinking and realized that "Barry Lyndon" really has some beautiful cinematography. I think I'll bump it to number 5 on my list.
Surely there must be some more thoughts on master Kubrick? |

| Of what I have seen, it is a close call. 2001 might be barely in the lead... The Shining was good. Clockwork Orange is one I need to watch again, kinda fuzzy. Dr. Strangelove was good from what I remember. |

| How could you have left off his best film, the Killing. Have you seen it, do you remember. If you have shame on you for not making it close to the top. I'm glad you're adding Barry Lyndon, though. The story isn't the best, but the cinematography is rich and beautiful.

| The Killing and Barry Lyndon are both, as of yet, unseen by my eyes. Shameful, I know. |

| I would say Dr. Strangelove.
I hated A Clockwork Orange with a passion. I saw it in college, and I just hated it.
2001 was...long.
The Shining was decent, although he took great liberties.

You're a moderator in this forum. I wonder if the new girl has seen any of them either. Quote: |

| The whole cops and robbers genre owes so much to that movie. For the time it was really pushing buttons with its violence and portrayal of such. It also broke all the rules of story-telling. It used a fractured timeline. Cook had to be one of the coolest killers of all-time. All of them were super-cool. This movie had a huge part in Quentin Taratino's writing of Reservoir Dogs. |

| Dude, I've only seen The Shining. But I've read A Clockwork Orange. e probably changed it a little. The book was good, I think Burgess wrote it.
