i love white water rafting. My father and a group of his church buddies go every year. I can start going with them when I turn 25. They go on the Arkansas River in Colorado. They call themselves F.A.R.T.S (Fearless Arkansas River Trip Survivors). Also, when I turn 25 my dad is going to take me to raft on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon.

I've only been on this river in Pennsylvania (I forget what it's called) but I've been on it twice (class III I think)

I think you can go rafting on the Big Thompson River which is the river in the canyon that leads up to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

You can also come up to Fort Collins and go raft on the Poudre River. They have good rafting. But it isn't as good as the Arkansas river.

The water this year was exremely low. As I said earlier my father goes every year. The lowest he had ever seen was 700 ft3/sec. This year just before they left it was at 250 ft3/sec. What normally is a two hour run took them 7 hours. If I recall correctly, this is the lowest it has ben in decades.
