It sounded GREAT!

Nix when you go on tour I think you should sing it (with that band's permission) and it could be a great moment in your concerts. The crowds will hold up lighters and slowly sway back and forth while they sing along.

Then you could sing "Remember Me" after that one, and everyone can get hyper and start crowd-surfing and moshing.

Good stuff though!

I was expecting some music with it...

I think the accompanying music will help you stay in key with the song (or with yourself, either way). I say that because I noticed a little difference in the key of a phrase you would just finish and the next one you started. This is why singing acapella is a very humbling experience...

I think that song suits your voice better than your song "Remember Me". It sounds like you're using more of your lungs on this one or something and the other one I honestly just didn't care for. You have a powerful voice it seems and to me it just didn't sound like you were using all of it in "Remember Me" when compared to this one where I think you're using it a bit more to its potential.

So anyway....was that a good review or a bad one?

Besides...what's the point of asking for opinions when all are good? It's better for people to be brutally honest anyway because the last thing you want is to get a big head thinking you sing like a star when you really don't (like the lead singer in our band...heh). And no, I'm not saying you don't sing like a star because you have much potential... I think I'll take my foot out of my mouth now...

bah...Nix is the star of the moment, not me!

Actually, I wrote a song earlier this summer called 'Take Me Away' for the band... I recorded it live when I was playing at a coffeehouse helping a friend raise money for a fundraiser....sent it to Lindsey a long time ago, but never posted it here. Maybe I'll get around to it sometime...

Great points Brent!! Thanx :-)

Yeah, I have learnt that I do have a powerfull voice and I can use it to it's full potential if it's in a key I find easy to sing in (not my breaking point) About the song I recorded... you like some or you don't:kwink: In this song I was using "full lungs" but It can be fuller than that :-P

I like constructive critism!!! :-) Thank you Brent!!

I would have put music to it but didn't have much time so did that bit instead...

Thanx to everything else for the comments too!!!

Yeah, I know this is a little late to be asking, but what do I need to download to hear sound files from CGR? It won't work on mine, all it does is give me a link to some random website where there's nothing to download...help from some computer techies?
