Triple X

anybody going to see this movie? To me, it looks like a mindless movie that was made to make money off of guys obsessions with ig guns, big explosions, cussing, half naked women, lots of action. no real artistic merit, but no one cars cuz of the big guns, violence, and half naked women. it looks like a fun movie, but can anyone say "fast and furious"? Jeeze, it's got the exact same plot. i don't think i'll be going to see it, i'll just rent fast and furious again and wait for this one to come out on DVD

I will definately not be seeing this movie. I'm probably one of the more conservative people when it comes to movies. It seems like an interesting enough plot, but the half-naked women definately breaks the camel's back on this one.

(Of course my friend Jessica is seeing it as soon as it comes out. She'd rush to the theaters for anything featuring Vin Deisel(sp?) ).

Vin Diesel = crappy actor.

How did this guy get popular? He talks worse than Arnold, and Arnold is from another country.

Although I have to say that Pitch Black was a cool movie and he was in it.

I went to this movie because I had seen everything worth seeing already (which right now is only Signs), and went in ready to be disappointed.

It was an implausable plot, and one that's been used before (Let's use crooks to catch crooks), but actually done a little better. It was a strange combination of the X-games and 007. I dunno, I've always wanted Bond to have the attitude that Van Diesel had in that movie.

Oh, and the whole half-naked woman thing (well, she did have on some clothes)....about thirty seconds of the movie. Of course, that's what they show in the trailor.

Not worth paying full price, but it works as a $2 dollar matinee.

It actually wasn't that bad.

YOU PAY $2 FOR MATINEES?
I understand its US currency, but STILL!

Full price at Famous Players is $10.50 and Tuesdays or matinees are $6.50

and that's not even a 'special' theatre!

Yeah, when I saw the title, I thought, "Wow! That's either the greatest or worst marketing strategy ever!"

But yeah, matinee is $2.00 at the Cinemark theatre in the Pecanland Mall, Monroe, La.

HAHAHA
Thanks for clearing that up there, Jay ...

ROFL!

Vin Diesel is not a bad actor. He MADE the Fast and the Furious a good movie.

I'm going to see that soon.
