Help with teaching bass tab!

I play guitar and a little bit of bass, and my friend, who is brand new at playing bass, wants me to teacher her how to read tab. Any suggestions for easy, begginer's tab?

Try some scales and walking bass lines first. They aren't too hard. If you're looking for specific songs, then most pop-punk stuff (Relient K, Philmore, ect) would work well. They're mostly root, so I thing that they wouldn't be too hard to learn.
Good time heavy rock 'n roll.

Some easy tabs to read.... Jesus Freak by DC Talk isnt that bad. Its all on two strings and allows someone to easily read off what frets they are on. You could also just write up sone sinple tabs. I really didn't think tab reading was that hard. There are 4-5 lines each representing the string and a number representing the fret. Unlike guitar tabs, which have usually 3-5 notes at a time, bass tabs usually go by one by one.
Romans 8:1-2
If it doesn't point to Jesus,
what's the point?

I suggest learning to read bass clef instead of tab.

Tab is useful on guitars for showing fingering (particularly of chords), but on bass? Just learn regular notation.

We've all got ideas. We are the music makers. We make money to buy things, and write down words.
