I would go martin all the way!!!!!!! I used to like Taylors but actually Martins sound just as good or better than Taylors and most of the time with better deals.....I just got a Martin that was originally $999 but was on sale for $700!

a epiphone chet atkins is cool but you can only hear it if it is pluged in. it has no sound hole and not feed back at all.

A Taylor guitar, is the only one I'd get if I could afford it. They're awesome.

actually, if you want an acoustic, you'll want an Ovation, Ibanez, or Taylor through a Fender acoustic amp....YUM YUM!!!! Also electric, Ibanez is the guitar for rock.:klol:

Thumbs up Lowden guitars all the way

Well that depends on how much you want to spend. For the finest sound and quality, I'd go for a George Lowden handmade. He's a Christian and the guitars are incredible.
site: www.georgelowden.com.

If you want less expensive, there's a factory that makes them to his designs, www.lowdenguitars.com

Bless u man
