This message is overdue because I am writing songs and doing pre production work right now for my next CD so I am sorry for the delay in writing. In reading the bible and your emails and living and breathing, I am amazed at how little we are truly encouraging each other to trust God! When it comes to how He will deal with our sin and the sin of others (Romans 1 and 2) we ignore the fact that its Gods job to do that! Look at Romans 11, Paul is talking about Gods great mercy for all, not just some and about how we who are believers were once stubborn and God was patient with us. Why are we not with other then? Back to Romans 2...is it not the kindness of God that leads us to repentance? If we barely trust the old guy to save us or to work in our own lives ... or the lives of others then how can the world look at a church full of control freaks and see...."FREEDOM"? Freedom from what, our worries? Aren't we still holding on to them? Our anger? Don't we still hold grudges? Our judgment of others? Where does it say that mankind will answer to US? Or did you read Romans 1& 2 and were it says everywhere from Jesus' own mouth about judging... The examples are endless ... if we put our "faith" into practice we run the risk of looking foolish and awkward and unsure of OURSELVES!!!...Now isn't THAT the point????... Lets remember who we really are with Jesus and without Him...and let the world see, if they do they WILL REJOICE as you did !!!!
