| How come everybody always has a bum/broke/hurt/bad something-or-limb when they recorded these?

| i think saying they got hurt or whatnot is just their excuse for sucking...haha, just kidding. What I've listened to so far is good. I would put some of mine up, but I've only been playing for around a month, and can't play all that good yet, plus, i don't have anything to put the stuff up w/.

| Here are clips of my newest recording. I've been playing about 3 years. This is only the 2nd time I've recorded, but I am pretty pleased with how it sounds. |

| Here we go, my first playing post of...well my entire membership. I got called into a midnight recording session today at the university so we just sat down and recorded Confirmation and Days of Wine and Roses. The trumpet player was auditioning for something and needed a rhthym section to play behind him. http://www.jamesrosso.com/drums.cfm
Since the quality turned out good we're going to get more people together and record tunes we actually rehearsed so maybe I'll get some good playing up here some day |

| I really like the clips--nice feel, good ideas! On Confirmation, though, I would have laid back in the pocket a little more... just a little less comping... at times it got distracting from what the trumpet was doing.
Your alternate ride also got really washy (especially at the beginning of the second take). You might want to save it more for softer sections, like you did for the piano solo during the second take.
I would suggest looking at "The Art of Bop Drumming," by John Riley, if you haven't already. It's sure to make any good player into a great player.
Oh yeah, great job on the trading fours.
