Well, ya know, we have so much surfing in Mississippi that it's gets old after a while...

Actually I've never even seen a wave big enough to surf on. I've been able to body board a little in Florida, but I'm not that good, so I'll just mod this thread and not actually post any more.

yep, one of my best friends moved to florida and i go out there with her many times a year, and her brother taught me to surf a few years back....

Here's a pic for you surf crazed people...... I wanted to start surfing but ti didn't happen..... but it doesn't stop me from loving the the beach though.....it's definatly my second home.....:kwink:

Heya,

I waveski (it's like surfing with something that is a mix between a surfboard and a kayak)
I do plan on learning to surf, with a surfboard, next time I go out though. Surf's been down recently though.

I went to college out in Southern California and learned how to surf - but that was awhile ago.

I miss the ocean terribly - my wife's parents own a building right on Balboa Beach (about 2 miles from Huntington Beach), so my dream is to open up a Starbucks, live upstairs, and have a ministry to surfers.

i'm gonna learn how to skimboard this summer (it's a easier version of surfing on shallow water - but it's still hard), but surfing is definitly on my list for something to do in the next couple years, if i ever have enuf time....:kcool:
