Not only was O Brother Where Art Thou good for a laugh, it was a very intersting adaptation of the Odyssey as well. An interesting interpretation. There are a lot of great one-liners in there too.

"Any o' you boys smithys" *blank stares* "Or if not smithys, were you perhaps otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts?"

"Well, Pete, there are all manner of imps and lesser demons, but the Great Satan himself is red and scaly with a biforcated tail, and he carries a pitchfork."

Are any of you guys fans 0f Tom Tykwer's films? He directed "Run Lola Run" and "The Princess and the Warrior." Both were real cool, but I prefer "The Princess and the Warrior." His latest film was just released in the US in limited release. He has a real nice directing style. The last shot of "The Princess and the Warrior" was incredible.

Has anyone heard anything about "Punch Drunk Love"?? The new Adam Sandler movie?? It looks extremely interesting to me...

Yes, I know plenty about it. In fact, I'm seeing it this Friday. Of course, you should know that this isn't a typical Adam Sandler movie. Directer P.T. Anderson describes it as "an arthouse Adam Sandler movie." It should be nothing short of fantastic, at least that's what I'm expecting going in.

yeah that's what I'm expecting too. It looked like a serious movie, instead of his usually stupid-goofy movies.
