This is a sort of weird question, as well as a rhetorical one, but why do "Christian" bands always have to be held responsible for "explaining everything right," or in other words, be held responsible for how other Christians percieve their music/words/message?

I like Life Metal (Christian Death Metal) because I can relate to it. As a secular metal listener, I find the musicality appealing. Not only that, but I feel that Gothic style lyrics render more truth about the topic. Yes, we need praise and worship, but we also need to admit to God how much we (as a whole) do wrong. I feel that Life Metal does an excellent job of this. Pointing out our mistakes to God glorifies Him just as much as praise and worship. Also, in this day and time, i'd rather listen to a pulsing battle anthem than a lullaby. It conveys more truth to the listener.

My two cents.
