Very dissapointed...ok maybe not

I saw Mercy Me tonight at SuperWOW and they were awesome. However they didn't play I can Only Imagine or Give us Clean Hands. I'm not a big fan of them but I knew those two songs. Lol. They are really good live though. We had second row seats and after the show, me and a friend of mine went to the stage and looked at their guitarists pedals and we tried adding us the costs of everything. Lol. Around $3000 is a good estimate I couldn't afford all those 1 foot cables to hook them up. Anyhow i just thought i'd tell you guys about my night

Mercy Me Live

Hey, I have seen Mercy Me live twice, and yes, they are great live! I saw them at a conference at which they did music for 2 years in a row. The first year they did all the music but the second year they only got about 30 minutes for a concert type thing. Plumbline was the band that played the other times in the conference, they are also a very good band!

I've never heard of Plumbline... Are they an indie band?

Plumbline

I honestly don't know, I hadn't heard of them til I heard them at the conference. At first I didn't really like them, but I guess they grew on me, hehe! They are a good band!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw them at festival con dios. They weren't my favorite thing there but they weren't bad. I probably would've enjoyed them more if I wasn't looking forward so much to tobyMac, who was right after them.

mmm "Crazy"...great song! "There's A Reason" is one of my other most favorites from the new album. "There's A Reason" and "All The Above" are Mike's (guitarist for MercyMe) favorites from the new album. I interviewed he and Nate (bass) at Festival Con Dios in Atlanta...you can read all that stuff when Mickey gets around to posting my interviews.

But anyway... as for "I Can Only Imagine"... My friend Matt and I get told that we do a great version of that song... That's not the point, though... We get asked to play that song SO MUCH and have played it so many times that it's gotten kind of old. That's just little old me and my friend, so imagine (no pun intended...) how they feel when they wrote it and have been playing it a few years...
