| well yeah...it'd be the B thing that is the ss...i know what its called i just can't spell it...lol
but...
after you get past the Du hasst mich...
it says du hast mich angefragt und...then something, then the spelling goes
to hast...
i talked to a german student at my school last year about that in chem...lol |

| Just thought that I would clarify. It's been a long time since I listened to the song, but it goes like:
Du hasst, du hasst mich
which is, of course, you hate, you hate me
then du hast mich gefragt
the hast just shifts into perfect past or past perfect or super perfect or something so then it's you asked me or more correctly you have asked me.
Just thought that I'd throw that out there. |

| hasst vs. hast actually, i believe the title on my cd says hast. we discussed it in my german class. (german 1, the teacher i had for german 2-3 wouldn't talk about it 'cause she hated the band. they are very much NOT christian, btw.) anyways, the teacher that discussed it said that it was a play on words. the english translation (on the same cd) says "you hate", but they also say "never" for "nein" (should mean 'no'), so i think they just kinda made a similar song that fit the same beat, and 'have' (hast) just wouldn't have made much sence in english. i'm not completely sure myself, but that's my 2 cents on the topic...
btw again, if you need any more evidence of them being not christian, listen (or don't) to "Engel" i'm quoting a line here "Gott weiss ich will kein Engel sein." (trans.- God knows i won't/don't want to be an angel). any more proof? other things my german 2-3 teacher mentioned is that they talk about abusing women among other things i can't remember at this time. |

| ANDY! YOU MUST TEACH ME THE ALPHABET! PLEEEESE? That's the most important thing for me right now. Once I can read stuff correctly it'll be easier for me to learn. I want to speak German sooo bad! I love how it sounds! And I must get back to my roots. Pleeeeeese Andy? ::cough cough:: Matt? ::cough cough::
