The Rainmaker

Anyone seen the film The Rainmaker starring Danny Divito it's a film based on the book with same title by John Grisham. I watch it al lot and it's one of favourite films unfortunately my video tape has worn out and i cannot get it in any shops. But the story line is great as are most of the films based on Grisham novels.

That was a great movie. Nobody talked much about it, but I thought it was one of the best movies I'd seen (and still is). Matt Damon was in it, too, and I believe Jars of Clay was even featured prominently in the soundtrack of the film. Good stuff.

Yes i thought it was one of matt damon's best roles ever. and yes it was the Jars of Clay soundtrack. Danny Divito as excellent playing the sort of character who couldn't get the qualifications but had all the know how. I can't wait till i find somewhere to order it from again as i am having withdrawal symptoms LOL

Like you say Brent i cannot understand why it was never talked about as much as other films, it seemed to come out everyone loved it and then it dissapeared.

I'd have to say that The Rainmaker and A Time To Kill are probably two of my favorite drama movies that I've seen. Both are courtroom movies, too...hmmm...
