| Let's play, "Can we all agree?" It seems a lot of people have a lot of opinions on movies...duh . So I thought it would be fun to see if we could find movies that everyone agreed either was great or plain sucked. The only rule is that it has to be a major movie...no C movies from the 70s that no one has heard about. I'll start...do we agree that Shawshank Redemption was really good, and I'll say either 200 Cigarettes (I walked out after 20 minutes to go watch SW: Phantom Menace...it was that bad) or Road Trip. |

| I agree that the Shawshank Redemption was really good. However, I cannot agree to disliking those other two movies, because I've never seen them.

| Does everyone agree that Lord Of The Rings was one of the best movies ever?

This is all legit and legal. PM me for more questions. If you sign up through my link and complete an offer, I will give you $10 after I'm given credit for your completion. The blockbuster deal is $10 and you get movies for a month and 4 in-store coupons for movies. So if you cancel before you're billed for the second month you basically are getting free movies sent to you and 4 coupons for free.
I get paid everytime you click this. |

| Oh yeah - LORD OF THE RINGS was amazing. I would pay just to watch them build that set of The Shire; it was so otherworldly.
Yesh, I can agree that 200 CIGARETTES was a lousy movie.
Can we agree that THE SCARLET LETTER was the cure for insomnia?? (BORING)
Or that perhaps THE ENGLISH PATIENT was the ultimate cure for insomnia: |

It was a very long movie, but I still felt like there was so much missing. Even with a long length, everything couldn't be included. I guess that just speaks for how good the book is. |

| Lets see:
I disliked the Patriot. A lot of it is that fact that everyone seems to think of it as on the same level as something like Saving Private Ryan (which is a great movie).
I liked Braveheart. Didn't love it. Liked it.
Liked Toy Story, but loved Toy Story 2.
Jack....liked it, from what I remember.

1: Batman and Robin
2: Steel Magnolias
3: Patch Adams
4: Armageddon
5: Staying Alive
6: The Postman
7: The English Patient
8: It's Pat! The Movie
9: When Harry Met Sally
10: Little Nicky
Staying Alive is the sequel to "Saturday Night Fever" and definitely sucks. "Postman" is just horrible. And most Adam Sandler movies after "Happy Gilmore" belong in the recycle bin. | I wouldn't exactly trust Maxim readers to be critical judges; although I don't object to most of that list (where's Pearl Harbor). However, "When Harry Met Sally" doesn't belong there. I'm certainly not a fan of that genre, but the movie is good for what it is.
Speaking of Sandler, watch for him in the new P.T. Anderson movie "Punk-Drunk Love" in theatres this fall. Supposedly we're going to see him like never before. I know I've spoke of this before, but sorry I can't help it. As a P.T. Anderson fan I'm trying to hype this movie as much as possible. |
