(NASHVILLE, TN) June 21, 2002-Sparrow Records teen group Jump5 is heading straight into the national limelight with a new single, album and extensive U.S. summer and fall tour. In the biggest itinerary of their career, Jump5 will share the bill this summer on tour with superstars A*Teens and Baha Men for their summer tour as well as Aaron Carter for his fall tour. The dates begin July 12 in Myrtle Beach, SC and wrap up in Syracuse, NY. A complete itinerary is listed below.
The Nashville-based teen quintet is also currently enjoying significant national airplay with "All I Can Do," the premiere single from their upcoming album All The Time In The World. Produced by Mark Hammond, the album arrives in stores on August 13th, while a video version of "All I Can Do" arrives at video outlets early this summer. The single can now be heard on Radio Disney across the country, and will also be included on a compilation CD given away with three million McDonald's Mighty Kids Meals later this summer.
Jump5 first drew national attention with their self-titled 2001 Sparrow debut album. The group has already been featured on the CBS Morning Show, toured with Radio Disney, performed at a special congressional benefit to raise disaster relief funds and honor New York City Firefighters, and performed at the White House for the President and Mrs. Bush, just to name a few.
Comprised of Chris Fendun, Brandon Hargest, Brittany Hargest, Libby Hodges, and Lesley Moore, the members of Jump5 grew up in Nashville's competitive dance circuit and have known each other since early childhood. In addition to singing and dancing, all five perfected the art of gymnastics to enhance their athletic ability. A one-of-a-kind experience, Jump5 sets a new standard for positive pop that will entertain and excite the ever-growing population of "tweens."
