I don't get how cussing can't bother a Christian... not to be rude but why is wrong to say GD or offensive to hear it but just fine to hear the other words?

because GD is using God's name in vain. the other words make me cringe, but since cussing isn't actually a sin it makes for a weak argument.(i used to argue that it was a sin all the time). there a few threads about this in theology if you want to read about it.

the only problem i have with cussing, is that in my own opinion, it makes a person sounds less than intelligent when they cuss every other word.

I expect movies made to pagans to be pagan. What bothers me is Christian bashing and liberal preachiness. For instance, a sex scene in an action movie doesn't bother me as much as movie like "Bridges of Madison County", where the whole message of the movie is cheating on your spouse is ok if you really love someone else.

Well I was actually involved in a cussing thread WAY back there when I first joined and I've read the others but my personal opinion is that saying cussing is ok is a pretty weak arguement...I think it's a matter of how you interpt the scriptures. I would encourage you to ask your pastor his opinion on the issue.
