Phil McCracken

I have a friend whose last name is Plante, and her Dad is a Pastor. Her mom's name is Rose Plante and she told me her Dad used to go to churches and tell them he had 3 children: Bud, Pansy, and Tulip. One day when they visited a church some people seriously asked them, "Which one of you are Tulip?"

I find it hilarious when you can make funny names out of names that really exist. For example, I had a boy in my class in grade 6 whose name was Gareth Butts.
Well, if Gareth had a brother named Harry... you can imagine the comedy.
In fact, the same Pastor Plante said he once met someone named Harry Butts... and made a joke that if Harry walked into church with two ladies, someone could make an announcement "Could the two ladies with Harry Butts please come to the front?" LOL.

I also had a girl at the place I volunteer tell me her and her siblings thought it would be hilarious if they had another sibling named Phil. Their last name was McCracken. (Say Phil McCracken slowly out loud)

Anyways... I just think it's funniest when someone could actually be named the names. :klol:

His name was Benjamin Dover ... Seriously. Oh how (we) kids can be cruel...

A former Texas governor's last name was Hogg, and he named his daughter Ima
