| This is a very brilliant metal album. It is by far the best of ZAOs career, and possibly the best metal/hard-core release of 2000. One thing that made it neat were the electric drums. It gives the album a synthesized feeling, which allows for it to be faster than if played on normal drums. The vocals steal the show though, the way they have such a range. Dan can sing wonderfully and scream his lungs out better than anyone I have ever heard. His lyrics are personal, but not so personal that you can't deciepher the meanings on the songs. Check this out if you wanna' hear something different in Christian music...it is absolutly brilliant.

| (Self titled) I personally believe this CD is one of the Greatest CDS Zao has produced. The recording quality is excellent, the Vocals are beautiful, and the guitars are amazing. I definatly prefer this CD more than "Parade of Chaos" which I thought was absolutley awful.

| Some good songs.....but too much crap, not enough metal.....spent too much time on filler techno/computer generated crap....it's a wonder, between Parade of Chaos and this CD, that they still have my fanship....it has to have been Funeral of God that saved it......it doesn't deserve the 6 i gave it....

| Just to make a correction, this CD cannot be called "Zao" as it was "not an eponymous release." The title is actually "(Self-Titled)." |
